     Police are investigating a murder case happened in Yuen Long yesterday (May 20) night, in which a 54-year-old woman died.

     At 7.26pm, Police received a report that a woman was found lying unconsciously on a footpath on Kam Pok Road East.
                
     Police officers sped to the scene and found multiple cut wounds on the woman’s neck and back. Also sustaining multiple injuries on her body, the woman was certified dead at scene.
                
     After initial investigation, the case was classified as murder.
                
     An electric saw, a 30 centimetres long beef knife and a pair of gloves in suspected connection with the case were seized at scene. Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.       

     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District is underway.

     Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in Cheung Sha Wan today (May 1) in which a 30-year-old woman and her 5-year-old son died.

     At 9.55am, Police received a report from a security guard that the two persons were found lying on a podium at 28 Sham Mong Road. They were suspected to have fallen from height.

     Police officers were deployed to the scene. The woman and the boy were certified dead at scene. Initial investigation revealed that they fell from a unit at the above location. No will note was found at scene.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of deaths of the deceased.

     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po District is underway.

Hong Kong – Murder in Cheung Chau

     Police are investigating a murder case happened in Cheung Chau this morning (April 27) in which a 52-year-old man died.
 
     At around 11am, Police received a report that two men had a dispute on 120 Tai San Back Street. One of them collapsed after being suspectedly assaulted by another man with hands. The assailant then fled away.

     Police officers sped to the scene and found the 52-year-old man lying unconsciously on the ground. Sustaining head injuries, he was rushed to Cheung Chau Hospital and was certified dead at 11.53am.

     After initial investigation, Police arrested a 43-year-old man in Pak She San Tsuen. He is being detained for enquiries.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.

     Investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Marine is underway.

Hong Kong – Murder in Tai Po

     Police are investigating a murder case in Tai Po, in which a 28-year-old woman died.

     Police received a report on February 22 that the 28-year-old woman was found missing after she was last seen near Kadoorie Hill, Kowloon City on February 21 afternoon.

     After investigation, Police found some sections of human body inside a unit in Lung Mei Village, Tai Po yesterday (February 24) afternoon. The deceased was suspected to be the missing woman.

     Two men, aged 31 and 65, and a 63-year-old woman were arrested for murder, and are now being detained for further enquiries.

     A meat slicer, an electric saw and some clothing in suspected connection with the case were seized at scene.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.

     Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is underway. Police do not rule out the possibility that more arrests will be made. Anyone who witnessed the case or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3661 8281 or 9702 9757.

     Police are investigating an attempted murder and suicide case in Ma On Shan yesterday (December 31, 2022), in which a 44-year-old woman died.
      
     At 9.04pm, Police received a report from a 44-year-old man that his 44-year-old wife was injured and collapsed in a unit in Sai Sha Road.
      
     Police officers sped to the scene and found the woman lying unconsciously in the living room. Sustaining injuries to her neck, she was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital and was certified dead at 9.41pm.
      
     Police officers also found the man who sustained injuries on his neck inside the unit. He was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital in conscious state.

     A knife and some clothing, suspected to be in connection with the case, were seized at scene.
      
     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the deceased’s cause of death.
      
     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Sha Tin District is underway.
