A man and a boy in connection with murder and wounding in Tuen Mun arrested

     Police arrested a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy in Tuen Mun yesterday (November 11) afternoon. They were in suspected connection with a murder case happened in Tuen Mun on August 6, in which a 22-year-old man died.



     After investigation, Police arrested the 23-year-old man for murder and wounding, and the 16-year-old boy for wounding in Tuen Mun.


       


     Police laid holding charges against the 16 year-old boy with two counts of wounding. The case was mentioned at Tuen Mun Magistrates’ Courts this morning (November 12). The 23-year-old man is being detained for further enquiries.   


 


     Police arrested nine men, aged 16 to 32, in suspected connection with the case earlier.    



     Active investigation by the District Anti-Triad Section Team 1 of Tuen Mun is underway. Police do not rule out the possibility that more arrests will be made. Anyone who witnessed the case or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 6148 1800.

     Police arrested a 39-year-old non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) man in the small hours today (August 30) who was in suspected connection with the murder happened in Yau Ma Tei yesterday (August 29), in which a 35-year-old NEC man died.



     After investigation, Police arrested the 39-year-old man in Sham Shui Po for murder.



     Police arrested two NEC men, aged 27 and 35 respectively, in suspected connection with the case earlier.



     All arrested men are being detained for further enquiries.



     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad 3 of Yau Tsim District is underway.

     Police are investigating a murder case in Pat Heung last night (June 3) in which a one-year-old girl died.



     At about 9.20pm last night, Police received a report from a 67-year-old man that he failed to contact his 32-year-old daughter.



     Police officers sped to a village house in Shui Tau Tsuen and found the 32-year-old woman and her 33-year-old husband at a room in the village house, and the one-year-old girl was found lying unconsciously on the floor in another room. Sustaining neck injuries, the girl was certified dead at scene.



     After initial investigation, the case is classified as murder. The 32-year-old woman and the 33-year-old man who were in suspected connection with the case were arrested and are now being detained for further enquiries.



     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.



     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District is underway.

     Police yesterday (May 30) arrested four men, aged 31 to 58, who were in suspected connection with the murder case happened in Mong Kok on May 27, in which a 46-year-old man died.



     After investigation, Police arrested three men, aged 31 to 34, for murder and a 58-year-old man for assisting offenders in Castle Peak.



     All arrestees are being detained for further enquiries.



     Police arrested four men and two women in suspected connection with the case earlier. Three arrested men and an arrested woman, aged 20 to 37, were laid a holding charge jointly with one count of murder. A 30-year-old arrested man was laid a holding charge with one count of conspiracy to wound with intent. A 34-year-old arrested woman has been released on bail and is required to report back to Police in late June.



     Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is underway. Police do not rule out the possibility that more arrests will be made.

     Police are investigating a murder case in Tai Po yesterday (February 6) evening in which a 68-year-old man died.



     At about 6.44pm yesterday, Police received a report from a 64-year-old man that his elder brother was found collapsed inside a village house in Tin Liu Ha, She Shan Road.



     Police officers sped to the scene and found the 68-year-old man sustaining multiple injuries to his body. He was certified dead at scene.



     Initial investigation revealed that the 64-year-old man assaulted the deceased with a fruit knife. Police arrested the 64-year-old man for murder. He is being detained for enquiries.



     A fruit knife in suspected connection with the case was seized at scene. Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death.



     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad Team 1 of Tai Po is underway.
