L-Tron to Attend and Sponsor SC IAI Investigators Conference

FORT MILL, S.C.April 16, 2024PRLog — For the second consecutive year, L-Tron will attend the South Carolina Division of the International Association for Identification (SC IAI) Spring Conference from May 6-9, 2024.

This year’s conference will be held at Rock Hill’s Sports and Event Center and feature notable guest speakers, panel discussions, networking opportunities and more. L-Tron will sponsor a break in the Vendor’s Hall for conference participants. The SC IAI is a division of the International Association for Identification. The SC IAI conference is geared toward law enforcement, crime scene investigators, and others with a common interest in criminal identification. This year’s SC IAI Keynote Speakers include Teresa Bryant of the Jupiter Police Department and Dr. Kenny Kinsey of Kenny Kinsey and Associates LLC. Bryant is a long time CSI and former Florida IAI President. They will share the investigation details of the “Thanksgiving Day massacre” and the “Super Bowl Sunday Shooting.” Dr. Kinsey, with over two decades of crime scene and expert witness experience, will share his firsthand account as an expert witness for the 2021 Murdaugh murders.

L-Tron Returns from International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Technology Summit

IRVING, TexasDec. 29, 2023PRLog — The L-Tron team has returned from the annual International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Technology Summit, which was held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas earlier this month. The Summit attracted fire service professionals from all over the country, as well as many industry-leading technology companies. The L-Tron team attended for the first time this year, showcasing its patented OSCR360 System for in-house firefighter training, emergency preplanning, fire investigation, and crash documentation.

L-Tron team members, Andy McNeill and Julianne Pangal attended the Summit and enjoyed chatting with attendees from around the globe. From the time spent with visitors at the L-Tron booth, to casual conversations over lunch, McNeill and Pangal found that people were impressed with OSCR360’s multiple purposes and features, as well as the system’s affordable price point.

The Summit will take place at the Irving Convention Center and focus on how to practically implement technology to benefit firefighter safety and decision-making processes.

L-Tron to Attend National Conference on Active School Threats East in Raleigh, NC

RALEIGH, N.C.Nov. 22, 2023PRLog — The L-Tron team will be attending the National Conference on Active School Threats EAST in Raleigh, NC from November 29 – December 1. The theme of this year’s event, which will be hosted at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills is “Resiliency through Preparation.” The conference will focus on creating safe, secure, and healthy environments within our school districts.

L-Tron’s Julianne Pangal and John Dobies will be available throughout the conference to demo the OSCR360 System for Emergency Preparedness.

The L-Tron team attended the 2022 Conference in Phoenix, AZ, also hosted by School Safety 911. This year, two identical conferences will be held on opposite coasts and will provide more accessibility for attendees. In addition to the EAST Conference in Raleigh, the WEST Conference will take place in Phoenix, AZ from December 6 – 8. Both conferences are geared toward school administrators, school resource officers, campus security officers, law enforcement, mental health staff, emergency management staff, first responders, and other school or community stakeholders.

The annual conference, which will be held at the Hilton Doubletree Resort at SeaWorld, will include a variety of workshops, lectures, and networking opportunities. L-Tron’s Andy McNeill, an IAI Senior Crime Scene Analyst, is scheduled to present his lecture, “Building your Case with Limited Scene Documentation,” in the Royal 3 lecture room on Tuesday, October 31 at 1:00 PM.
