Prime Minister Modi’s opening remarks at the first Quadrilateral Leaders’ Virtual Summit

Your Excellencies,
President Biden,
Prime Minister Morrison, and
Prime Minister Suga,

It is good to be among friends!

I thank President Biden for this initiative.

Excellencies,

we are united by our democratic values, and our commitment to a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific.

Our agenda today – covering areas like vaccines, climate change and emerging technologies – makes the Quad a force for global good.

I see this positive vision as an extension of India’s ancient philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which regards the world as one family.

We will work together, closer than ever before, for advancing our shared values and promoting a secure, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific.

Today’s summit meeting shows that Quad has come of age.

It will now remain an important pillar of stability in the region.

Thank You.

Tips for buying Pakistani chiffon ladies suits for weddings

Part of this painful plan is to choose a wedding dress with a beautiful whisper that you know you look and more importantly you will feel absolutely amazing. Here’s a guide to making the notoriously impossible task of wedding dress planning easier and simpler.

Buy plan, not dress:

You need to have a solid plan in mind before you set foot outside the Ladies suit. Keep in mind your wedding themes, color codes (if any) and what colors and designs will complement your overall style and level of change. Your outfit goes with you and you take the outfit, the outfit should go with you!

Not every shiny thing is gold.

Let’s be real, if you have a heavy price tag that you can use to make it, then, the embroidery that goes with the gray note dress will work. Who you are and your Online Women Clothes should appreciate it.

Between mirror work, chic cutwork, pearl, gold wire, organza or endless types of embroidery like classic old Condon and Sardis, choose the one that can complement. You make it easier to carry clothing as a whole and at the same time preserve the timeless grace and pay homage to your culture and traditional values.

Fabric quality

Given the changing fashion preferences and the less sympathetic nature of traditional clothing, new fabrics have been welcomed in the limelight. So far, light and crisp fabrics like satin, chiffon collection and georgette are preferred over traditional hard fabrics like silk as the heavy burden of embroidery is gradually being phased out.

However, choosing one should depend on what season the wedding is taking place and the level of embroidery you want. Comfort should also be a top priority because it is useless if you can’t feel good by looking good.

Colors:

Go for a color that suits your modern wedding tastes and your personal wedding theme. Instead of a solid color palette like bright red filled with gold, try a lighter tone like wine, champagne gold or even patches that blend in with your skin tone and remember it with gold washing wires. It supports minimal and simple look in 2021 which shows a little bit of billing and it is very easy to walk for many hours.

If the popping color is more than ruby red or burgundy or even blue, this is a great idea for 2019. Equipped with some pearl work and an ideal idea of amazing organza and embroidery, people will need a second look.

Style/Design:

A skirt, as lehenga or a classic three-piece suit (very trending) are some of the designs you can make. Again, this should be in contrast to your wedding theme and decor. A luxurious and heavy set wedding will be with a lehenga or ghagra at the wedding but the minimalist wedding sets are best suited with fancy art with fancy three piece curtis.

Torah Study Surges during Corona Pandemic

One of the positive fallouts from the Covid-19 pandemic, is the growth of online learning programs. The Jewish community is no exception. Located in the heart of Jerusalem, former South African Gad Grieve is part of a resurgence of Torah study in the world. It’s happening in the observant and not so observant community.

Many prominent Talmud scholars were effected by the lockdown, in Israel and in other parts of the world. Known for his technical skills with online platforms, Gad Grieve was instrumental in setting up several online platforms. This facilitated the possibility of hosting multiple Zoom calls on a daily basis.

Whereas online Torah study was previously available from several online platforms like YouTube, OU Torah, Torah Live, the pandemic resulted in an explosion of classes and one-on-one online learning. Rabbi David Cohen a prominent Torah scholar admitted, “There has been a silver lining to Corona. The amount of Torah students who have taken to zoom is incredible.”

Grieve, working on a voluntary basis, was able to expedite the process of connecting   talmidei chochamim with an audience.  Hundreds who would most likely not have entered a yeshiva on their own accord, found a watering-hole in the way of Zoom. They were fascinated by what they had saw and heard. The upshot was that tens of online yeshivas sprung up, sparking a surge in Torah learning.

Eric Weiss, originally from Baltimore said, “Coming from an unobservant family, I was drawn out of interest to Torah. I always wondered what Rabbi Akiva found so fascinating. When I actually did hear a shiur on the parshah I was blown away.”

Weiss now spends his morning listening to Torah shiurim on mussar, halacha and the parsha. More advanced scholars tune into a Daf Yomi shiur where they go through a blad gemora, which is equal to two pages, every day. After a about six and a half years they cover the entire Shas, the complete set of what is known as the oral law.

Gad Grieve cannot take full credit for the work that he is doing because, as the process would have happened organically in any event. However publicizing and connecting students with the classes of the Torah classes, certainly helped speed up the process. He could not be contacted for this article.

Even if and when the pandemic ends, one thing is for sure. Torah learning will never be the same. Come rain, hail or snow, every Maggid shiur will be just a Zoom’s throw away. It’s as they say in Torah circles, gam Zoom le tova. It’s an adaption of the expression gam zoom latova, which means “everything is for best.” The adapted phrase reads, “Also Zoom is for best.”

A high-level National Committee headed by Prime Minister constituted to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence

In his Independence Day speech of 15 August, 2017, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi had said:

“If each one of us, irrespective of where he belongs to, strives with a new resolve, a new energy, a new strength, we can change the face of the country with our combined strength in the 75th year of our independence in 2022. It will be the New India – a secure, prosperous and strong nation. A New India where there is equal opportunity for all; where modern science and technology play an important role in bringing glory for the nation in the global arena.”

Taking inspiration from the words of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Government of India has taken a decision to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence which falls on 15th August 2022 in a befitting manner at national and international level in the form of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. A National Implementation Committee under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Home Minister had earlier been constituted for the commemoration, to guide the policies and programs to be undertaken by various Ministries of Government of India under the India 75 commemoration. A Committee of Secretaries has also been set up for this purpose.

The Government has now constituted a National Committee under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India with 259 Members, for which a Gazette Notification has been issued today.

The National Committee includes dignitaries and eminent citizens from all walks of life. The Committee will provide policy direction and guidelines for formulation of programs for the commemoration of 75th anniversary of Indian Independence, at the national and international levels.

The celebrations are proposed to be launched 75 weeks prior to 15th August 2022 i.e. on 12 March, 2021, which is the 91st anniversary of the historic Salt Satyagraha led by Mahatma Gandhi.  In order to discuss modalities relating to preparatory activities under the commemoration beginning from 12th March 2021, with the members of High Level Committee, it has been decided to convene the first meeting of the Committee on 8th March 2021.
