Fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Tin Shui Wai this afternoon (September 12), in which an 85-year-old female pedestrian died.
                     
     At 3.35pm, a light goods vehicle driven by a 40-year-old man was travelling along Tin Sau Road towards Tin Ying Road. When approaching Tin Yat Estate, it reportedly knocked down the woman who was crossing the road.
      
     Sustaining serious head and leg injuries, the woman was rushed to Tin Shui Wai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.06pm.
                           
     The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
      
     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Sau Mau Ping this afternoon (August 14), in which a 79-year-old male pedestrian died.
                
     At around 3.20pm, a light goods vehicle driven by a 41-year-old man was travelling along Ngau Tau Kok Road towards Kwun Tong Road. When approaching near 152 Ngau Tau Kok Road, it reportedly knocked down the 79-year-old man who was crossing the road.
 
     Sustaining serious head injuries, the male pedestrian was rushed to United Christian Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.50pm.
                      
     The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
 
     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Tseung Kwan O today (June 17), in which a 63-year-old man died.

     At 2.07pm, the 63-year-old man reportedly collapsed when driving a light goods vehicle (LGV) towards Chui Ling Road from a carpark at 88 O King Road. The LGV reportedly lost control and rammed into railings.

     Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in unconscious state and certified dead at 3.29pm.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Tsing Yi yesterday (May 20), in which a 53-year-old man died.

     At 10.26pm, a motorcycle driven by the 53-year-old man was travelling along Cheung Tsing Highway towards Ting Kau Bridge. Upon approaching outside 22 Sai Tso Wan Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into barriers.

     Sustaining limbs injuries, the man was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and certified dead at 11.34pm.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Kwun Tong this afternoon (April 15) in which an 83-year-old male pedestrian died.

     At 3.28 pm, a bus driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling along Hong Ning Road towards Kwun Tong. When approaching the junction with Mut Wah Street, it reportedly knocked down the 83-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     The man was trapped under the car and rescued by firemen. Sustaining multiple injuries, he was rushed to United Christian Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.07pm.

     The bus driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
