The Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) are released on 12th of every month (or previous working day if 12th is a holiday) with a six weeks lag and compiled with data received from source agencies, which in turn receive the data from the producing factories/ establishments.
2. For the month of September 2021, the Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) with base 2011-12 stands at 127.9. The Indices of Industrial Production for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electricity sectors for the month of September 2021 stand at 95.1, 129.9 and 167.9 respectively. These Quick Estimates will undergo revision in subsequent releases as per the revision policy of IIP.
3. As per Use-based classification, the indices stand at 117.3 for Primary Goods, 91.5 for Capital Goods, 140.2 for Intermediate Goods and 142.5 for Infrastructure/ Construction Goods for the month of September 2021. Further, the indices for Consumer durables and Consumer non-durables stand at 126.4 and 146.6 respectively for the month September 2021.
4. Details of Quick Estimates of the Index of Industrial Production for the month of September 2021 at Sectoral, 2-digit level of National Industrial Classification (NIC-2008) and by Use-based classification are given at Statements I, II and III respectively. Also, for users to appreciate the changes in the industrial sector, Statement IV provides month-wise indices for the last 12 months, by industry groups (as per 2-digit level of NIC-2008) and sectors.
5. Along with the Quick Estimates of IIP for the month of September 2021, the indices for August 2021 have undergone the first revision and those for June 2021 have undergone final revision in the light of the updated data received from the source agencies. The Quick Estimates for September 2021, the first revision for August 2021 and the final revision for June 2021 have been compiled at weighted response rates of 89 percent, 93 percent and 94 percent respectively.
6. Release of the Index for October 2021 will be on Friday, 10th December 2021.

The Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) are released on 12th of every month (or previous working day if 12th is a holiday) with a six weeks lag and compiled with data received from source agencies, which in turn receive the data from the producing factories/ establishments.
2. For the month of May 2021, the Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP)with base 2011-12 stands at 116.6. The Indices of Industrial Production for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electricity sectors for the month of May 2021 stand at 108.0, 113.5 and 161.9 respectively. These Quick Estimates will undergo revision in subsequent releases as per the revision policy of IIP.
3. As per Use-based classification, the indices stand at 122.7 for Primary Goods, 65.6 for Capital Goods, 129.9 for Intermediate Goods and 129.8 for Infrastructure/ Construction Goods for the month of May 2021. Further, the indices for Consumer durables and Consumer non-durables stand at 78.7 and 136.4 respectively for the month of May 2021.
4. Details of Quick Estimates of the Index of Industrial Production for the month of May 2021 at Sectoral, 2-digit level of National Industrial Classification (NIC-2008) and byUse-based classification are given at Statements I, II and III respectively. Also, for users to appreciate the changes in the industrial sector, Statement IV provides month-wise indices for the last 12 months, by industry groups (as per 2-digit level of NIC-2008) and sectors.
5. Along with the Quick Estimates of IIP for the month of May 2021, the indices for April 2021 have undergone the first revision and those for February 2021 have undergone the final revision in the light of the updated data received from the source agencies. The Quick Estimates for May 2021, the first revision for April 2021 and the final revision for February 2021 have been compiled at weighted response rates of 87 percent, 92 percent and 94 percent respectively.
6. Release of the Index for June 2021 will be on Thursday, 12thAugust 2021.

The Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) are released on 12th of every month (or previous working day if 12th is a holiday) with a six weeks lag and compiled with data received from source agencies, which in turn receive the data from the producing factories/ establishments.
2. For the month of April 2021, the Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP)with base 2011-12 stands at 126.6. The Indices of Industrial Production for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electricity sectors for the month of April 2021 stand at 108.0, 125.1 and 174.0 respectively. These Quick Estimates will undergo revision in subsequent releases as per the revision policy of IIP.
3. As per Use-based classification, the indices stand at 126.7 for Primary Goods, 82.4 for Capital Goods, 137.9 for Intermediate Goods and 134.8 for Infrastructure/ Construction Goods for the month of April 2021. Further, the indices for Consumer durables and Consumer non-durables stand at 112.4 and 142.3 respectively for the month of April 2021.
4. It may be noted that the nationwide lockdown and other measures implemented to restrict the spread of Covid 19 pandemic from the end of March 2020, had led to a majority of the establishments not operating in April 2020 and consequently, there were many units which reported ‘Nil’ production, affecting comparison of the indices for the months of April 2020 and April 2021.
5. Details of Quick Estimates of the Index of Industrial Production for the month of April 2021 at Sectoral, 2-digit level of National Industrial Classification (NIC-2008) and byUse-based classification are given at Statements I, II and III respectively. Also, for users to appreciate the changes in the industrial sector, Statement IV provides month-wise indices for the last 12 months, by industry groups (as per 2-digit level of NIC-2008) and sectors.
6. Along with the Quick Estimates of IIP for the month of April 2021, the indices for March 2021 have undergone the first revision and those for January 2021 have undergone the final revision in the light of the updated data received from the source agencies. The Quick Estimates for April 2021, the first revision for March 2021 and the final revision for January 2021 have been compiled at weighted response rates of 85 percent, 92 percent and 95 percent respectively.
7. Release of the Index for May 2021 will be on Monday, 12thJuly 2021.

The Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) are released on 12th of every month (or previous working day if 12th is a holiday) with a six weeks lag and compiled with data received from source agencies, which in turn receive the data from the producing factories/ establishments.
2. For the month of February 2021, the Quick Estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP)with base 2011-12 stands at 129.4. The Indices of Industrial Production for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electricity sectors for the month of February 2021 stand at 116.5, 129.3 and 153.9 respectively. These Quick Estimates will undergo revision in subsequent releases as per the revision policy of IIP.
3. As per Use-based classification, the indices stand at 124.3 for Primary Goods, 93.3 for Capital Goods, 137.6 for Intermediate Goods and 138.2 for Infrastructure/ Construction Goods for the month of February 2021. Further, the indices for Consumer durables and Consumer non-durables stand at 124.7 and 147.6 respectively for the month of February 2021.
4. Details of Quick Estimates of the Index of Industrial Production for the month of February 2021 at Sectoral, 2-digit level of National Industrial Classification (NIC-2008) and byUse-based classification are given at Statements I, II and III respectively. Also, for users to appreciate the changes in the industrial sector, Statement IV provides month-wise indices since April 2020, by industry groups (as per 2-digit level of NIC-2008) and sectors.
5. Along with the Quick Estimates of IIP for the month of February 2021, the indices for January 2021 have undergone the first revision and those for November 2020 have undergone the final revision in the light of the updated data received from the source agencies. The Quick Estimates for February 2021, the first revision for January 2021 and the final revision for November 2020 have been compiled at weighted response rates of 90 percent, 94 percent and 94 percent respectively.
6. Release of the Index for March 2021 will be on Wednesday, 12thMay 2021.
