Whole Foods Market will open its new 47,790-square-foot store, located at 500 Chestnut Ridge Road in Woodcliff Lake, N.J. on Wednesday, July 27. The stores design evokes a casual, modern feel with a traditional material palette in hues of black, white and tan with pops of color. The new locations product assortment features more than 1,000 local items from the Tri-State area and local produce from New Jersey, hand-picked by Chris Manca, Local Forager for Whole Foods Markets Northeast region.
Features of the Woodcliff Lake store include:
- An array of organic, conventional and Sourced for Good produce, plus offerings from more than 10 New Jersey farms, including the launch of greenhouse-grown baby spinach and pea-shoots from Element Farms, microgreens from Aero Farms and peppers, eggplants, tomatoes and blueberries from DOttavio Produce.
- Full-service seafood counter featuring a wide array of shellfish, whole fish, fresh fillets and ready-to-grill selections. Local options include oysters from West Robins Oyster Company, scallops from Lunds Fisheries and seafood cakes from Lagniappe Foods and smoked salmon from Catsmo Artisan Smokehouse. All offerings are either sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed.
- Specialty department dedicated to celebrating artisan producers and cheesemakers. Local items include fresh pasta from Severino Pasta, mozzarella cheese from Lioni and assorted chocolate bars from North South Confections. The cheese counter is overseen by trained cheesemongers who can offer recommendations for any occasion and create custom boards.

J&M Foods Issues a Voluntary Recall on a Select Lot Number of Favorite Day, Lavender Shortbread Cookies Due to the Packages Contain Chocolate Chip Cookies That Do Not Disclose the Correct Allergens
J&M Foods is initiating a voluntary recall because a select number of the Lavender Shortbread Cookies were erroneously packed with Chocolate Chip Cookies. As a result, the packaging does not list the presence of possible allergens (soy and eggs). Some people who have an extreme allergy or severe sensitivity to soy or eggs could run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled product was sold as an individual package of 7 ounces. On individual packages, the lot code (best by date) can be found on the back of the bag and the item number (UPC) can be found on the bottom of each package. Photos of the recalled product are below.
This product was distributed nationally at Target. This is the only product that is subject to the recall. Target has been notified and they have removed the product from their store shelves and online.
J&M Foods was made aware of this issue via a consumer contact. To date, there have been no illnesses reported.

Nissin Foods Company Limited (“Nissin Foods” or the “Company”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; Stock code: 1475) today announced its unaudited first quarter financial information for the three months ended 31 March 2022 (“the Reporting Period”).
The Group’s revenue increased by 10.1% year-on-year (“YoY”) from HK$964.5 million to HK$1,061.8 million. Gross profit grew 7.4% YoY to HK$332.8 million (2021: HK$309.9 million). Gross profit margin was 31.3% (2021: 32.1%), mainly a result of the increased prices of raw materials and other production costs. Profit attributable to owners of the Company was HK$90.3 million (2021: HK$93.2 million).
Revenue from Hong Kong operations increased by 6.6% YoY to HK$357.9 million due to a surge in demand of bag-type instant noodles. As for Mainland China operations, having taken steps to expand its geographical sales territories and strengthen its “Cup Noodles” brand in the Reporting Period, revenue increased by 11.9% (in local currency: 8.6%) to HK$703.9 million, mainly contributed by the growth in sales volume of cup-type instant noodles.
