SCST congratulates Hong Kong, China Delegation on winning four more medals in Asian Games

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (September 29) congratulated the Hong Kong, China Delegation on winning four more medals at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou (Asian Games).
Mr Yeung said, “The Hong Kong, China team continued to claim triumph at the Asian Games. We applaud for them.”
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won 36 medals, namely five golds, 13 silvers and 18 bronzes, at this Asian Games. The list of medals won today are as follows:

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (September 24) congratulated swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning a bronze medal in Women’s 50m Breaststroke at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou (Asian Games), as well as Siobhan Bernadette Haughey, Tam Hoi-lam, Camille Cheng and Stephanie Au on winning a bronze medal in Women’s 4x100m Freestyle Relay at the Asian Games.

The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (August 24) congratulated multitalented Hong Kong artiste Andy Lau on garnering the Special Tribute Award at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival.
Mr Yeung said, “Andy Lau has made great contributions to Hong Kong films and music. We sincerely congratulate Lau on earning this well-deserved title. Apart from showcasing Hong Kong’s cultural soft power, Lau, who demonstrates a responsible and professional work attitude, is also a role model for young people.”
