Online Ad Professionals Needed to Judge Best Online Advertising Awards

 The Web Marketing Association’s 21st annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Award program is currently accepting entries and is looking for qualified judges to help adjudicate this year’s award program. The IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising.

To nominate yourself or someone within your organization, please complete the Judge’s Nomination Form. Internet and advertising professionals selected as judges will be contacted during the first week of January.

“We are looking to expand the judging pool for the awards by bring on qualified advertising professionals to help us set the standard of excellence for online advertising,” said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association, Inc. “We created the IAC Awards to highlight the best in this unique advertising medium by industry and need additional individuals who have direct experience developing online advertising. Our judges must have an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in web advertising, an eye for a well-designed ad and the objectivity to score entries according to a predefined set of criteria.”

Judging for the IAC Awards will take place in February, 2023. Judges will consist of a select group of Internet advertising professionals with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in Web advertising. Past competition judges have included top executives from leading corporations, institutions and media organizations such as Arc Worldwide, Beeby Clark+Meyler, Brunner Digital, Campbell-Ewald, CNN, Deep Interactive Asia, Digitas, EuroRSCG 4D, Google, IBM Interactive, JWT, Mastercard, McCann Worldgroup, Possible, SapientRazorfish, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Small Army, Tectis GmbH, TMP Worldwide, Universal McCann Interactive and Wunderman / Y&R.

The Internet Advertising Competition Awards are open to everyone involved in the process of developing Internet advertising. Entries may be submitted online at http://www.iacaward.org. The deadline for entry is January 31, 2023 and will be judged on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium.

The Best Online Advertising to be Recognized by Web Marketing Association

 The Web Marketing Association announces the Call for Entries for the 21st annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. The IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising. This international award program will evaluate all forms of online advertising, including email, page-based ads, online newsletters, mobile apps, Websites, video, social media and voice skills in 86 industry categories. The Competition website is located at www.iacaward.org and the deadline for entry is January 31, 2023.

“Online advertising is a critical component of today’s marketing mix,” said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “We created the IAC Awards to highlight the best in this unique advertising medium by industry and to help advertising professionals validate their efforts to clients and senior management. The Internet Advertising Competition Awards are open to all organizations and individuals (advertising and interactive agencies, corporate marketing departments, small business owners, etc.) involved in the process of developing Internet advertising. Entries may be submitted online at http://www.iacaward.org. The deadline for entry is January 31, 2023 and will be judged on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium.

Awards will be presented within each of the industry categories and advertising formats, including:

– Best Social Media Campaign

– Best Online ad & Campaign (including banner, pop-up or interstitial)

– Best Email message & Campaign

– Best Online newsletter & Campaign

– Best Website (including best landing pages and best microsites)

– Best Online video

– Best Mobile applications

– Best Voice Skills or Actions

– Best Integrated ad campaign

Best of show award for each format will be selected from among the industry winners. Ads eligible for entry in the competition must have run during the period from January 1, 2022 through January 31, 2023.

Interactive agencies that win multiple awards will also be in the running for Top Agency Award. Each entrant will be awarded points based on the level of award for each award received. A Best of Show will be worth 5 points, Best of Industry 3 points and each Outstanding award 1 point. The agency with the most points will be awarded the Top Agency Award. Agencies winning an IAC Award will also be automatically included in the Award Winning Agencies Database.

In an effort to recognize those organizations that demonstrate exceptional development skills across multiple entries, agencies that win more the 6 awards will also be recognized with an Outstanding Advertising Developer award from the Web Marketing Association. In 2021, four agencies won this honor.

Judging for the IAC Awards will take place in February, 2023. Online portal facilitating Raksha Mantri’s Awards for Excellence in Defence and Aerospace Sector 2021-22 launched by MoD


Ministry of Defence has launched an online portal for filing applications for Raksha Mantri’s Awards for Excellence in Defence and Aerospace Sector 2021-22 today. The objective of Raksha Mantri’s Awards, managed by Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) under Department of Defence Production (DDP) is to give further boost to Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, for achieving self-reliance in Defence manufacturing and reward excellence in the fields of Indigenization, Innovation and Exports by the Indian Defence Industries (both Private as well as DPSUs/PSUs).


 This initiative will facilitate widening of Industrial base in the Defence and Aerospace sector, identify ‘hidden gems’ from Private Industries especially from the MSME/Start-Up segments and promote them as role models for others.


 Applications for Raksha Mantri’s Awards under various categories will be accepted only through the online Portal (https://rmawards.ddpmod.gov.in) and the processing of applications for the Awards will also be done online. Last date of filing online applications is September, 29, 2022.  The awards for the year 2021-22 will be presented during DEFEXPO-22, scheduled to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from 18 to 22 October 2022.

Massive Open Online Courses


One hundred twelve (112) universities have offered Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) through SWAYAM Portal till June, 2022.


Educational contents are broadcasted in total 15 languages through 19 multilingual SWAYAM PRABHA TV channels.


NEP 2020 reiterates the need for standardization of Indian Sign Language (ISL), and development of National and State Curriculum materials for use by students with hearing impairment. Various initiatives are being undertaken towards serving such students by creating quality learning resources. A Total of 859 ISL videos for primary classes have already been produced which regularly telecast on PM eVIDYA DTH TV channels on 24×7 basis. These are also uploaded and disseminated on DIKSHA portal and mobile apps. Over 12,500 words ISL Dictionary (including glossary for subjects like Economics, History & Geography) developed through an MoU between National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an autonomous body under M/o Education and Indian Sign Language Research and Training Center (a National Institute under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) is also being disseminated to students.


The information was given by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Subhas Sarkar in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.

New Online Store, Tutelage, Collabs with Georgia Nonprofit to Help At-Risk Children

 T-Skills, LLC, an organization that aims to help all children with behavioral health and disabilities learn valuable life skills, develop better communication skills and promote self love, today announced the launch of its new clothing line available at thetutelagestore.com. The Tutelage Store is one of the three departments under T-Skills, LLC. The company has partnered with Solid Rock Youth Services, Inc., to donate a percentage of store proceeds to help at-risk children in Georgia.

“We are excited to be collaborating with Solid Rock Youth Services,” said AC, founder of T-Skills. “With the launch of our exclusive online store, we hope to further their mission of aiding at-risk children and their families in the community.”

The new online store is an extension of the Tutelage downloadable app, which gives children with communication disabilities a voice, parents an eye on their children’s daily activities on the app, and provides an early detection of any negative behaviors concerning the children.

“The saying, ‘it takes a village to raise a child,’ holds true,” said AC. “We decided to go back to what is not broken: providing a clean, non-violent, empathy teaching app to assist parents is giving their children a positive choice based on old school values to develop a healthier mind for children to better express themselves.”

Products the online store promotes diversity and “it’s okay to be different” by including characters from different cultural backgrounds. Customers can expect to find all types of clothing, backpacks, and accessories featuring their favorite Tutelage characters.

“Our shoppers will be able to purchase a limited-edition toy collection that will help young boys and girls learn basic life skills while playing games with a focus on positive growth,” said AC.
