Mrs. Shahid said that the essence of life and growth lies in learning and contentment. Both factors are equally important in every phase of our lives, and everyday is a new learning experience in itself. She explained her journey and how her life experiences have moulded her into the person that she is today. She told us that she wanted to become a lawyer, however as she rightly pointed out that life is not always what you plan for, but it’s an uncertain journey which needs to be embraced. Existing skils one has are important but not enough, investing in oneself is very important, to be updated by reading books and learning new skills, helps one to survive and grow in life and career. One should do the work systematically, it helps us to learn properly and finish the work on time said entrepreneur Mrs. Zoya Shahid.

According to her, in order to live a happy life we should avoid fear of uncertainty by avoiding negative news and accepting positivity around us. We celebrate our life by seeing our family and friends happy and being around us. She cited large number of personal life examples and her journey from India to USA, back in India and now in UAE to elaborate on the concept of happiness for her and how she goes about celebrating life. Analyst Zoya said that in coming next six months acquiring new customers is difficult and an entrepreneur or MSME, so we should focus to keep our existing customer with us is also very important. Working hard and trying to make it happen is the only success mantra for everyone feels Mrs. Shahid. She felt that money is important in life to live but money and power is not they only and everything in life to live a happy and satisfied life said Mrs. Shahid. We should not try to plan the entire life in a time frame in terms of career and personal life, because at the end of the day due to uncertainty, it may hurt a lot. We should always be open minded to listen and accept others perspective which help us to learn new things in life emphasized Mrs. Zoya Shahid.

She also explained to the youth that we necessarily shouldn’t put specific time frames to major events in our lives and should be open minded to the views and opinions of others. She outlined that India has high potential, which is getting to grow to new heights under the leadership of PM Modi. She was happy narrating her journey into pursuing education in India, USA and then finally at the Indian Institute of Finance, from where she had done her MBF program in 2011-13. She remembered her days of wearing Sari (twice a week) as mandatory and the discipline she and others were put to by Prof. J.D. Agarwal which has helped shape her life. This has changed her outlook towards life and got her success one after the other while she worked in top leading global brands compared to her colleagues which came from Ivy league institutions in India. She was very thankful to the knowledge and right foundation she got at during her two years journey at IIF. She felt that the youth needs to invest in themselves and the relationship they harbor in family, organisation, with Gurus and at the temples of learning like IIF. One must have or develop the habit of reading, learning and having the right positive attitude to embrace patience, which she learnt at various stages in her life.
