WaykiChain Charity Foundation Established: Public Welfare Through Football

For Waykichain, December 28 is an ordinary yet unusual day. After intense preparations for over a month, this day marks the official establishment of the WaykiChain Charity Foundation.

It starts with a registered capital of CNY 20 million (USD 3.14 million) provided by the WaykiChain Foundation. It is WaykiChain’s new global philanthropy initiative and the first attempt to combine football with charity to promote global charity cooperation.

The WaykiChain Charity Foundation will invite Hamid Obaidi, the former spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, to engage in daily operations and promote the global philanthropic development of WaykiChain from an international perspective. Mr. Obaidi was saved from the turbulent situation in Afghanistan thanks to efforts of the global WaykiChain community. Fate brought Mr. Obaidi and WaykiChain together. This is also a successful example of global philanthropy under the framework of transnational cooperation.

With support from the global community, the WaykiChain Charity Foundation attracted multiple charity ambassadors across the world, including the Afghan Ambassador Wasim Amin, the Montenegrin Ambassador Mari, and the Pakistan Ambassador Waqas Khan. We believe that with the help from the global WaykiChain community the Foundation will establish a charity network with a greater public-welfare influence and a wider audience.

WaykiChain is a cryptocurrency project full of vitality. Since its establishment, it has been promoting the blockchain technology development. It has contributed to solution of the industry’s pain points and to improvement of the industry standards.

It has also been active in finding more ways to give technology a bigger social meaning and hopes to help more people in need using the power of blockchain and crypto. Therefore, it has been forming a public-welfare tradition of its own.

Creation of a charity foundation following the “Public Welfare + Football” model will serve for internationalization of this welfare tradition and WaykiChain’s charity practice on a global scale.

The platform of this Charity Foundation will help us join hands with thousands of community followers who will become practitioners, promoters, and advocates of global public welfare. Through “Football Charity”, we will be able to raise the preciseness of the public welfare and expand its benefits. Also, relying on cryptocurrency, we can attract more public-welfare resources and a wider social force.

Each age has varying public-welfare demands; however, the original intentions of WaykiChain are the same. The only thing that changes is the ways we fit the main theme of the current age and develop a new model to better practice public welfare. “Public Welfare Through Football” is the new direction for WaykiChain’s public-welfare efforts; and the establishment of the WaykiChain Charity Foundation is their starting point.

Focus is to finish the race, result would follow,” says Scott Sports-supported rider Harith Noah ahead of Dakar 2022

India’s celebrated rider Harith Noah will head to the 2022 Dakar Rally with a far better preparation time under his belt but insists that his primary focus would be finish the race, make every kilometre count and the result would follow.

The 26-year-old, supported by Scott Sports, had become the first rider representing India to register a top-20 finish at the Dakar Rally in what was only his second appearance in the event last year.

“I never looked at the results. So, I don’t know where I finish (in every stage). Every day I have a feeling, as the starting line-up is decided on how you finished in the last stage. For me I want to take it kilometre to kilometre and do the best I can. It’s such a long race and I want to do the best I can and the results will follow,” said Noah while reacting to a question on what were his goals for upcoming race.

Dakar Rally is considered to be one of the most challenging races in motorsports with riders expected to navigate through the desert and sand dunes.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Noah did get enough time to prepare before the 2021 edition but has been putting in the hard yards in Spain and France for the last few months ahead of the 2022 edition that starts on January 2.

He also spent a couple of weeks training in Moroccan desert and had planned to travel to the African country once again this month. But with Morocco closing borders due to coronavirus threat, he chose to train in Spain.

Speaking about what makes competing in the Dakar Rally so special, Noah insisted that unlike circuit races this event is test of a rider’s navigation skills, physical and mental fitness as even the participants can’t really know what to expect during the two-week competition.

“You don’t know what to expect. They give you information about the stages but not much. This year the marathon stage is in the first week. Normally, it’s in the second week. In fact, it is on the second day. That is very surprising.

“At Dakar you are sure to do mistakes. The important thing is how fast you get back on track and how long you think about the mistake. I have tried to work on it, tried to live in the moment. Try not to think far too long,” he said.

Asked about how the experience of the previous two editions helped him prepare for Dakar 2022, the 26-year-old said he has now learnt to stay calm in all situations. “I have also learnt lot of things preparation wise. Obviously when I went to Dakar for the first time, I had no idea. But now I know what food to eat, what kind of lenses, gears to take.”

Noah pointed out that the Scott Addict RC allowed him to work on his power & endurance when he was in India and feels that the Prospect Goggles and lens he has been using would also provide him better protection and visibility while racing.

The Spanish national player and midfielder of FC Barcelona, Pedro González López ‘Pedri’, is the best young player of 2021. The Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport selects and honors Pedri (19) with the Golden Boy Award as the best U-21 player in Europe. He thus succeeds Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund). Pedri is a midfielder for the Spanish first division club and five-time Champions League winner FC Barcelona. He is one of the top talents from Spain and is described as part of the next golden generation of soccer. “I am overwhelmed and grateful. There is a lot of work behind this award and it feels good to know that my hard work is paying off. I hope I can lead the way as a role model for many young athletes,” Pedri said. He was also recently named the best U21 player of the year by France Football magazine, which awarded him the Kopa Trophy.

Young star cooperates with sports tech start-up
After more than 73 games this season, Pedri is still full of energy on the pitch. The youngster’s age is not the only factor contributing to this. An appropriate balance of training and regeneration is the basis for long-term sporting success. To ensure that the Golden Boy can maintain his training and playing workload in the future, Reboots equips him with innovative recovery products such as the Reboots Go Recovery Pants. The compression massage of the Reboots Recovery Pants and Boots accelerates his recovery, allowing him to return to giving one hundred percent faster and with light legs the day after a game or tough workout. “Pedri is young and full of energy. One of these factors can be influenced. Professional soccer players face extreme pressure to perform. To be able to withstand this in the long term it is necessary to give the body breaks. Reboots gets the most out of Pedri’s regeneration phases,” says Tom Keller, founder of Reboots.
