AUSTIN, Texas – June 26, 2023 – PRLog — The L-Tron team has returned from a successful visit to the Texas Division of the International Association for Identification’s (IAI) Conference. The event took place from June 7-8, 2023 at the Holiday Inn Austin Town Lake. L-Tron’s John Dobies and Julianne Pangal attended the conference alongside dozens of law enforcement officers, crime scene investigators, and detectives from around the country, demonstrating the patented OSCR360 and presenting a case study to conference participants. OSCR360 received plenty of attention from current and prospective clients.

“We had a great time in Texas for the IAI Conference and appreciate the warm welcome we received,” said Pangal. “Several of the investigators we talked to mentioned past cases they wished they would have had OSCR360 for, such as documenting a scene with skeletal remains and capturing the interior of a vehicle. The consensus was that OSCR360 is a powerful tool for walking someone through a crime scene. One of our current customers even stopped by to talk about getting another OSCR360 for their agency because they love it so much!”

On Wednesday, June 7, Dobies had the opportunity to present his, “HRSI: Hunting-Related Shooting Incident Property Damage Case” to a well-attended audience. ASHEVILLE, N.C. – June 5, 2023 – PRLog — The L-Tron team has returned from the 74^th annual International Training Conference (ITC) hosted by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). The conference took place from April 25-27th at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in outside of Asheville, North Carolina. Julianne Pangal and Andy McNeill attended the conference and demoed the OSCR360 system for fire investigation, evidence organization, and case presentation.

The IAAI conference provided instruction from international fire investigation experts, offered multiple networking opportunities for conference attendees, and showcased a variety of technology and equipment created to assist fire agencies.

The L-Tron team was pleased to meet investigators from across the United States and Canada, as well as teams from as far away as Hawaii, Brazil, and Taiwan. OSCR360 was well-received by investigators from fire departments, fire marshals, and private investigators. Several current OSCR360 customers attended the conference and reported that they use the system regularly at their fire scenes and have been pleased with OSCR’s capabilities.

L-Tron’s Julianne Pangal says, “One of the most common questions we were asked was what makes OSCR360 different? We had the opportunity to demonstrate OSCR’s unique software features that allow for digital evidence storage, case organization, and a virtual walkthrough of the scene. The system is valuable for investigators when a scene may be unsafe to enter or in dark, soot and ash-filled scenes.”

On scene, OSCR360 comprehensively captures detailed 360-degree images of fire and arson cases. Then, any additional digital evidence gathered from the scene can be organized and stored within the OSCR software as a clickable “point of interest” within the 360-degree photo. OSCR’s software incorporates map and blueprint overlays, GPS and time stamp data, and a notes feature, providing additional clarity and perspective. A completed OSCR project results in a compelling 360-degree virtual walkthrough of the scene for investigators, juries, and insurance companies to review the case.

VICTOR, N.Y. – Aug. 9, 2022 – PRLog — The L-Tron team recently returned from a successful trip to the National District Attorney Association’s (NDAA) Summer Summit in Denver, CO which took place July 18th & 19th 2022. Trevor DiMarco and Julianne Pangal represented L-Tron at the Summit, showcasing L-Tron’s OSCR360 technology. OSCSR360 software aids prosecutors before and during trials, with the ultimate goal of serving justice and obtaining convictions.

This year’s Summit, “The Evolution of the Digital Prosecutor,” focused on the use of technology in both the District Attorney’s Office and in the courtroom. One of the Summit sessions, titled “Using Technology to Increase Persuasion and Juror Understanding: The Visual Trial,” spoke volumes about the need for jurors to understand the facts of a case and to be engaged during the trial. Visual tools and new courtroom technology may be necessary tools for prosecutors to continue serving justice and closing cases with convictions.

By using OSCR360 for courtroom presentations and trial prep, Prosecutors are able to virtually bring the crime scene into the courtroom with a digital walkthrough of the case and any digital evidence. OSCR projects are fully admissible in court. OSCR serves as a digital “briefcase” in which investigators and prosecutors can organize each piece of digital evidence. Come trial, OSCR simplifies and improves the process of presenting in the courtroom. The system is also an effective tool in the plea deal process.
