Chris Cochrane Seen at Printers Row Lit Fest for Book Signing and Showcasing His First Fantastical Children’s Story

With all the books exhibited during the Printers Row Lit Fest 2023, one could definitely expect several book signings. Among them was one by Chris Cochrane, the author of the recently published childrens book The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter. Cochrane was encouraged to write this book by his wife and friends due to his creative knack for coming up with words. Now, hes excited to keep pursuing his path as an author by sharing his first book with the public.

San Diego, California – WEBWIRE

Someones been cleaning the kids room and it wasnt Mom and Dad.

Earlier this September, the Printers Row Lit Fest was once again the site of many exhibits of new publications as well as several authors holding their book signing session. This included even a recently published childrens book author named Chris Cochrane. With the support of ReadersMagnet, a self-publishing and book marketing firm, Cochrane was able to hold the session just in time for the event.

Cochrane is the creative mind behind The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter, a story that showcases both his rich imagination and his talent for making up the funniest made-up words.

Prior to publishing, Cochrane had used this talent to entertain his own children with the funniest stories. One day, however, his wife had begun urging him to go beyond just that and believed that his way with wordplay could be a fun read for more kids.

And thus, the Dinglehopper was born.

Cochranes book follows a lighthearted tradition in childrens stories where creatures with peculiar sounding names can be said to be found in hidden places and are responsible for strange things. In the case of the titular Dinglehopper, the story follows two little girls who embark on a search as they notice something has been cleaning their room, no matter how often they forget or how messy things got.

After the Printers Row Lit Fest 2023, Cochrane is still eager to exhibit his book at a number of other book fairs in the future. His imagination still has plenty to share as it draws much inspiration from his love sci-fi, fantasy, sports as well as his own desire to keep telling funny stories to kids.

Chris Cochranes The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and at www.ccochranebooks.com.

Authors Biography
Chris Cochrane, an author gifted with an incredibly active imagination, has completed his new book The Dinglehopper Blueberry Belly-Button Snooter: a charming story centered around two young sisters who believe a friendly creature has been doing their chores for them, and set off with their dad to thank him for being such a helpful friend.

Fond of nature, sports, and fantasy and sci-fi movies and TV shows, author Chris Cochrane draws his writing inspiration from the world around him but most especially from his family: his wife Stephanie and their four children. A salesman with a bachelors degree in business, Chris writes to entertain and amuse and loves inventing weird and wacky words, phrases, and creatures with which to delight his children. At his wifes suggestion, he began to write his stories down so that other children could enjoy them too.

Audio / Chris Stapleton reveals he wrote the title track Higher right after he moved to Nashville to become a professional songwriter.

Chris Stapleton (Higher song) OC: to me. :22
Higher is a song thats been around a long, long time. I wrote it in 2001 within the first few months of being a professional songwriter here in Nashville, and it was on the first demo session I ever did in Nashville. So, for it to come around 22 years later and wind up being a title track of an album is a pretty unique thing to me.

New Memoir by Chris Davis, “Worthy: The Memoir of an Ex-Mormon Lesbian” Shares a Story of Courage and Authenticity

Publish Your Purpose, a women and LGBTQ+ owned B Corporation™, is proud to announce the release of “Worthy: The Memoir of an Ex-Mormon Lesbian” by Chris Davis. In this brave and inspiring memoir, Davis shares her journey of growing up in a Mormon household in Maine and struggling with her identity as a queer person in a community that taught her that being gay was a sin.

At age thirty-two, Davis felt trapped in a life that she had been told was the right path for her: a husband, two children, and a townhouse in the suburbs. She felt that there was no way for her to reconcile her faith and her sexuality, so she made the decision to raise her children and then take her own life. However, the love and acceptance of her children led her to choose a different path and to embrace her true self.

In “Worthy,” Davis shares her story of navigating the complexities of family, religion, and personal identity. Her memoir sheds light on the tragedy of exclusion and intolerance, and shows that it takes courage and fortitude to change one’s beliefs and live an authentic life, but the rewards are immense.

Chris Davis is a life-long devout Mormon who left her family and her church in 2020 to fulfill her own personal destiny as a gay woman and independent thinker. Her other works include contributing an essay about her experience of being queer in the LDS church in an anthology called I Spoke to You with Silence, published in 2022 by the University of Utah Press. She currently lives happily in Maine.

“Worthy: The Memoir of an Ex-Mormon Lesbian” is available now at your favorite place to buy books. For more information about Publish Your Purpose and their mission to elevate the voices often excluded from traditional publishing, visit The Publish Your Purpose website.

Chris M. Arcenaux’s Highly Informative Art Pieces on Epilepsy Awareness Heads Off to Global Book Fairs

For roughly 14 years, Chris Arcenaux has suffered from epilepsy caused by a head injury he gained on the job. After undergoing a challenging procedure that finally alleviated his condition, he felt a calling to advocacy work. Today, he has used painting as a means to educate people on epilepsy, dispelling myths about the condition. His work has been compiled into an art book called The Epilepsy Shield Project:The First 120 Paintings, and its slated to appear in a number of book exhibits around

San Diego, CA – WEBWIRE

According to the World Health Organization, about 50 million people worldwide are diagnosed with epilepsy. And like many conditions of the brain, many people are still unaware of its various causes and how differently the condition impacts the lives of people who have it.

For Chris Arcenaux, epilepsy was an arduous 14-year experience that prompted him to tell his story through art. That is why he started The Epilepsy Shield Project, a large collection of art pieces compiled into a book that tells his story and expresses the experience.

Arcenaux developed epilepsy due to a brain injury he suffered while working in the dark. The accident created a lesion, which, in turn, created scar tissue that became the cause of his seizures. For roughly 14 years, he had consulted multiple doctors and tried various medication treatments that only seemed to have made his condition worse.

It was only until one epileptologist finally narrowed down the focal point of his seizures in his right temporal lobe that he could undergo a procedure to effectively address the cause. Today, he is effectively seizure-free and takes lower dosages of medication.

Since then, he had begun involving himself heavily with online support groups for epilepsy and live events. A friend on Facebook then suggested that he try creating an epilepsy awareness painting, which was the beginning of The Epilepsy Shield Project.

The book contains ten series, each with 12 paintings centered around a particular theme. Some of these include messages of support for people with the condition, while others dispel persistent myths about the condition. Its now set for display in a number of global book exhibits this year.

The Epilepsy Shield Project: The First 120 Paintings by Chris M. Arceneaux is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
