     Police today (March 17) laid a holding charge against a 22-year-old man with one count of manslaughter. A 19-year-old man was laid a holding charge with one count of assisting an offender yesterday (March 16).

     The two men were arrested on March 15 in connection with a manslaughter case happened in Cheung Sha Wan on March 14 in which a 66-year-old woman died.

     The case will be mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (March 18) morning.

     Police today (February 1) laid a holding charge against a 33-year-old man with one count of manslaughter and one count of common assault.

     The 33-year-old man and another 58-year-old man were arrested yesterday (January 31) and on January 29 respectively in connections with a manslaughter case happened in Wong Tai Sin on January 29 in which a 59-year-old man died. The 58-year-old man has been released on bail and is required to report back to Police in mid-February.

     The case will be mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (February 2) morning.

     Police arrested a 59-year-old Mainland man in the morning of November 11. He was in suspected connection with a murder and attempted robbery case happened in Sham Shui Po in 1991, in which a 56-year-old man died.

     At around 11.20am on June 9, 1991, Police received a report that three men armed with pistols robbed a shop on Pei Ho Street, Sham Shui Po and shot a 56-year-old male shopkeeper. The three suspects boarded a private car and fled afterwards. No property was robbed in the incident.
      
     Police officers sped to the scene. Sustaining head injuries, the male shopkeeper was sent to Caritas Medical Centre in unconscious state and then transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical treatment. He was later certified dead at around 9.20 pm on the same day.

     The Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West has been actively investigating the case and found that one of the suspects entered Hong Kong via Shenzhen Bay Port on November 11 and then arrested the 59-year-old man for murder and attempted robbery.

     Police laid a holding charge against the man with one count of murder and one count of attempted robbery today (November 13) morning. The case will be mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts today afternoon.

     Police today (October 4) laid a holding charge against a 17-year-old man with one count of wounding.

     The man was arrested today in suspected connection with a wounding case in Central today, in which two men, aged 57 and 60, sustained injuries.

     The case will be mentioned at Eastern Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow morning (October 5).

     Police today (August 6) laid a holding charge against a 51-year-old man with one count of attempted murder.

     The man was arrested on August 4 in suspected connection with an attempted suicide and attempted murder case in Ma On Shan on that day, in which he suspectedly burnt charcoal in a village house. His 90-year-old father was sent to hospital in unconscious state.

     The case will be mentioned at Shatin Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (August 7) morning.
