New horizons in clever building and construction

**********************************

Innovative drones released at a building and construction website in Nui Po Shan by the Development Bureau use a pioneering example of Hong Kong’s adoption of unmanned aerial automobile innovation through the Low-altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox.

The 3 crucial technological advancements of the drones, specifically a high payload capability, usage of beyond-visual-line-of-sight with automated operation flight innovation and innovative docking stations that enable effective battery management, make it possible for remote tracking of development and security.

The Deputy Financial Secretary, Mr Michael Wong, talked about the sector’s advancement as he examined the Nui Po Shan job. Deputy Secretary for Development, Mr Tony Ho, spoke to News.gov.hk about the drones’ applications and advanced functions.

The story is readily available at www.news.gov.hk/eng/feature from today (August 10) in text and video format.
