Outcomes of applications for 14th-round financing workout of Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme revealed

The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau today (July 29) revealed the application outcomes of the 14th-round financing workout of the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme (ACDFS). An overall of 14 effective applications (2 for Springboard Grant and 12 for Project Grant) will be moneyed, including an overall quantity of around $38.93 million.
The effective applications of the 14th round are of a high requirement, with a varied representation covering arts education/appreciation/promotion, neighborhood arts, dance, media arts, multi-disciplinary arts, music and theatre. The 14th-round financing workout continues to execute the Incentive Matching Sum, an effort presented in the 13th round to motivate effective Project Grant candidates to look for non-government sponsorship and/or contributions throughout task application, providing each effective candidate an additional matching summarize to a ceiling of $800,000.
Presented by the Government in 2011, the ACDFS intends to offer financing assistance for ingenious and impactful propositions that add to the goals of capability advancement of arts professionals, arts groups, art types and/or the arts sector; programme/content advancement; audience structure and arts education. The financing plan is administered on the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Arts Development. Members of the Committee participate in the evaluation of applications together with Expert Advisers. An overall of 89 applications were evaluated in the 14th-round financing workout.
