1PointFive and Amazon Announce 10-year Carbon Removal Credit Purchase Agreement

The 250,000-metric-ton Direct Air Capture credit removal purchase is the technology industrys largest agreement with 1PointFive

HOUSTON – WEBWIRE

1PointFive, a carbon capture, utilization and sequestration company, today announced that Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) has agreed to purchase 250,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide removal (CDR) credits over 10 years. The agreement furthers Direct Air Capture (DAC) as a viable carbon removal solution to help organizations further their climate goals.

The CDR credits for Amazon will be enabled by STRATOS, 1PointFives first commercial-scale DAC plant, currently under construction in Texas. The plant is designed to capture up to 500,000 metric tons of CO2annually when fully operational, making it the largest plant in the world, and a milestone in reaching climate relevant scale.

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the world needs to remove roughly 1 trillion tons of CO2from the atmosphere over the course of this century to keep global warming below the 1.5 degrees Celsius limit set by the Paris Climate Agreement.

1PointFive is progressing the development of Carbon Engineerings Direct Air Capture technology, alongside other decarbonization solutions, at an industrial scale to help organizations achieve their net zero goals. Under the agreement with Amazon, the captured CO2underlying the CDR credits will be stored in saline reservoirs that are not associated with oil and gas production.

Amazons purchase and long-term contract represent a significant commitment to direct air capture as a vital carbon removal solution, said Michael Avery, President and General Manager of 1PointFive. The addition of 1PointFives high-integrity, quantifiable carbon removal creditssupport Amazons path to achieve net zeroand shows the growing role that DAC technology will play in decarbonization pathways. We are excited to collaborate with Amazon to help themachieve their sustainability goals.

Amazons primary focus is todecarbonize our global operations and reach net-zero carbon by 2040 through our transition to renewable energy, building with more sustainable materials and electrifying our delivery fleet and global logistics. We are also pursuing changes such as reducing the weight of packaging per shipment for our customers. At the same time, we also need to seek every possible avenue to reduce carbon in the atmosphere, said Kara Hurst, vice president of worldwide sustainability at Amazon. These investments in direct air capture complement our emissions reductions plansand we are excited tosupport the growth and deployment of this technology.

Amazon Rainforest Advocate Says One Person Can Make a Difference in Climate Change

Streaming TV talk show, Good-Vibes.TV, highlights the work of Nature & Sustainability Expert, Sandra Fernandez Osores, co-founder of Amazon Planet Peru Ecolodge, in this 2-part series released the end of May 2023. This eco-friendly lodging in Peru is the perfect destination for those interested in ecotourism, wildlife conservation, and sustainability projects. Located in Madre de Dios, Peru, this biodiverse region is home to a wealth of species per meter of land. At the Amazon Planet Ecolodge, visitors can explore the lush environment and support the Ecolodge’s mission. Sandra and her team create unique opportunities for travelers to engage in the Amazon rainforest with their hands-on retreats and workshops. Travelers can connect with local entrepreneurs, or just enjoy the beauty of the rainforest.

When asked why the Amazon is so important, Sandra stated, “For this Earth, as a system, to be able to provide life, we need Nature’s other beings, specifically the Amazon rainforest, which is one of the biggest tropical forests and is a major basin of global ecological hot spots of this biodiversity that allows the Earth system to function properly.” Sandra continued, “When we reduce our impact, nature can thrive. Every plastic bag, faucet closed, and organic natural local product bought from a local provider instead of a supermarket or a big corporation makes a big impact that supports our well-being.” At Amazon Planet Peru Ecolodge, one person can make a difference. Travelers can also become part of the mission when they stay at the eco-friendly lodge.

Viewers can watch the 2-part series on Good-Vibes.TV by going to www.Good-Vibes.TV or www.youtube.com/@raiseyourvibeandthrive. Good Vibe TV’s slogan is “raise your vibe and thrive!” Good Vibes TV first aired in June 2021 and is in its third season.

“Thriving With ADHD,” an Amazon Best-Selling Book is Free for One More Day (until 07/01/2022) –

United States – WEBWIRE

Best Seller Publishing announces the release of Dana Kay’s new #1 international best-selling book, “Thriving with ADHD: A Guide to Naturally Reducing ADHD Symptoms in Your Child.” It will be available for free download in the Amazon Kindle Store for one more day, July 1st.

“Thriving with ADHD” gives parents of children with ADHD a proven step-by-step plan to naturally reduce ADHD symptoms and challenging ADHD behaviors.

No more guessing which strategies or remedies “might” help support kids with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. No more hoping that something “might” improve ADHD behaviors and then being disappointed when it doesn’t. “Thriving with ADHD” uses strategies that work.

For all caregivers who are on a mission to support kids with ADHD using food and other natural methods, “Thriving with ADHD” provides the blueprint to jumpstart the journey.

“Thriving with ADHD” by Dana Kay will be free and available for download on Amazon for one more day (07/01/2022) at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3L7TH9B

“Thriving with ADHD” has a 5.0-star rating on Amazon.com. Here’s what some people are saying:

“This was a really practical book for parents of kids with ADHD. It was easy to understand (not textbooky at all!) and full of action steps. I also really liked the bonuses that were included in the book. I think these will be really helpful moving forward, as I put all of the steps into practice. If you are looking for a way to support your child with ADHD using food and other natural strategies, this is the place to start for sure!” – Lindsey B.

“As a doctor who practiced pediatric and family wellness chiropractic for over two decades, I have seen way too many kids (and their parents) suffer needlessly from ADHD and other behavior and learning issues. If more parents understood the importance and the role food plays (as well as the other things taught in the book), I have little doubt that many of these issues would not exist with such frequency. This book is a must read. Dana makes it really simple to make significant changes that will impact your child’s present and future. Thank you Dana for writing this much needed book!” -Brian S.

For years, she felt trapped in her own home. That all changed when she learned how to reduce the inflammation in her son’s body, which in turn reduced his ADHD symptoms completely.
