Gracy Joseph, a former councillor of the Kochi Corporation in Kerala, was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi on Wednesday night with reported stab injury.
Hospital sources said she was undergoing treatment in the general surgery department.
Ms. Gracy served as chairperson of the development standing committee of the Corporation in the previous council.
