U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) stated he will quickly have response on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian equivalent Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold talks.
“I’m having a discussion with him extremely quickly, and I’ll understand basically what we’re going to be doing,” Mr. Trump informed press reporters at his Oval Office.
He did not clarify if he was discussing Mr. Putin or Mr. Zelenskyy.
A White House authorities who was not authorised to speak openly and spoke on condition of privacy stated Mr. Trump was referring to Zelenskyy.

Mr. Trump likewise repeated that he believed bringing an end to the Russia-Ukraine dispute would be “a lot easier”than it has actually shown to be.
