     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 13) that due to big waves, the red flag has been hoisted at Shek O Beach. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beach.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (October 7) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Repulse Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island and Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at these beaches.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 11) that Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach in Tsuen Wan District, which was temporarily closed earlier due to inspection and clearance works of damages and miscellaneous articles caused by the extreme weather conditions, has been reopened today.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 3) that Big Wave Bay Beach, Shek O Beach and Stanley Main Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island are temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of the shark prevention net. Reg flags have been hoisted at the beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beaches.

Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre to reopen tomorrow

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 3) that Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Centre in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, will be reopened tomorrow (September 4).     

     The water sports centre was temporarily closed earlier for urgent clearance and maintenance work after the typhoon Saola.
