SILIGURI: Landslides that eliminated 21 individuals in hills on October 5 likewise ruined public and personal property worth 950 crores, the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) in Darjeeling stated on Monday.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee remained in north Bengal for the 2nd time on Sunday to supervise relief and rehab work. She is arranged to go to Darjeeling on Tuesday.
“The state must state the catastrophe a state catastrophe and the Centre need to supply financial assistance,” Chowan stated.
Indian Gorkha Janshakti Front president Ajoy Edwards and previous GTA chairman Bonoy Tamang, who are opposition leaders in the GTA, stated they will comply and make sure that afflicted individuals are restored.
