An Early Look

Walter Goggins joked about “being early” to the Emmys and walking the red carpet in a white blazer and matching shirt aligned with a vacation-at-the-White Lotus theme. The actor wore a snake as a ring, necklace, and bracelet to honor a special scene (no spoilers!) in the show, which earned him a nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Rick.

Mirrorball Glamour

Justine Lupe was channeling a mirrorball in a glittering silver dress. The Nobody Wants This star kept the glam minimal — simple makeup, no jewelry, hair down — letting her neckline and head-to-toe sparkle do the talking. Her Netflix show, which stars nominees Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, is up for Outstanding Comedy Series tonight.

Strike a Pose

Derek Hough being extra on a red carpet? Is the sky blue? The Dancing With the Stars judge hit the carpet in a classic black tux, pairing it with no-show socks and sleek shoes, then broke into a few dance moves. The ABC competition show returns Tuesday.

Bringing the Blooms

Is that a lotus on his vest? The White Lotus star Sam Nivola ditched the basic-boy tux, rocking a wide-lapel coat and loose trousers matched with a floral vest layered over a white button-up. It’s a win when the guys mix it up, and he’s repping a show that scored 10 nominations.

Something New Please

Last night, Mario Lopez was ringside co-hosting the Crawford vs. Canelo fight on Netflix. Today? He showed up in what looked like the exact same outfit: a black suit, black tie, black shirt combo that screamed a bit “basic.” Time to switch it up!

Ready in Red

Shabana Azeez nailed the shades of red in a light crimson gown that popped just enough against the carpet. The mermaid-style dress featured a rose-ruffle detail on one shoulder, giving the look a gorgeous 3D addition. She’s repping The Pitt, which is up for Outstanding Drama Series and several other awards tonight.

Standing Up

Megan Stalter left the goofy bits (and that viral Dunkin’ Donuts getup from the VMAs) at home to make a humanitarian statement. The Hacks actress showed up in a pared-down white T-shirt and jeans with a bold red lip. She made a loud statement with a strong accessory: a black handbag marked with white tape reading “CEASE FIRE!” — a call for an end to the war in Gaza.

Vision in Gold

Dichen Lachman went for gold in a sparkly gown that faded from light gold to bronze, and finished darker at the hem. She kept her hair sleek in a top bun, and opted for some simple necklaces. Lachman is repping Severance. The show is the night’s most-nominated series, including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series.

Mother Has Arrived!

Jennifer Coolidge stunned in an all-black, off-the-shoulder gown, complete with matching gloves, a sleek clutch, and hoop pearl earrings to tie it all together. While she’s not up for a trophy this year, she’s still repping The White Lotus, which scored big nominations tonight.

Pretty in Pink

She’s got the pink in Blackpink down! Lisa is repping her acting chops tonight at the 2025 Emmys, following her breakout role as Mook in The White Lotus, in an off-the-shoulder, corseted pink dress that’s equal parts Barbie-glam and fairy, sleek drama.

Emmys Royalty Is in the House

Patricia Arquette dazzled in a velvety gown with matching gloves. She’s repping Severance — the night’s most-nominated show — and is herself up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Harmony. A win would mark her third Emmy, following victories for The Act in 2019 and Medium in 2006.

Making Waves

Keyla Monterroso Mejia made waves as the sharp assistant in The Studio, which is one of the top nominees tonight. The Mexican-Guatemalan actress, who made her breakthrough on Curb Your Enthusiasm, strutted the red carpet in a red gown with petal-like ruffles and sheer sleeves.

Perfectly Polished

What the Helly, she looks good! Britt Lower’s red hair perfectly complemented her burnt-orange gown. She accented it with sparkling silver earrings and a clean makeup look. Tonight, she’s up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her starring role in Severance.

Elegant Streak

Jean Smart has won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2021, 2022, and last year — could she get back to a streak this year? The Hacks lead actress already looked award-worthy on the red carpet in an elegant, dark emerald gown with a turtleneck, perfectly ruffled sleeves, and stacked necklaces.

Stunning in Black and Gold

We love the elegance of black and gold! On the Emmys red carpet, Chloë Sevigny — nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story — stunned in a black gown with puffed sleeves and gold details on the straps of her dress and her bracelet.

Jaw-Dropping Jenna

Bravo, Jenna Ortega — you know how to make an entrance! The Wednesday star, who’s presenting tonight, rocked a top made of giant gems hanging from her neck, paired with a black long skirt with a daring slit. Her makeup was perfectly stunning and spooky, and her look is a favorite of the night. The whole ensemble is definitely something her Wednesday Season Two co-star Lady Gaga would 100 percent approve.

Date Night

Selena Gomez is giving a masterclass in elegance — alongside Benny Blanco! The singer-producer duo brought couple goals to the carpet, even sharing a sweet kiss at one point. Gomez stunned in a bright red gown with a matching cape, accented with silver earrings and rings. Tonight, her show, Only Murders in the Building, is up for multiple awards. Blanco? He’s down for the ride in an elegant all-black tuxedo.

Papi Pascal

If there were a Daddy of the Year award at the Emmys, Pedro Pascal would be the frontrunner. The Last of Us star, who’s nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, strutted the red carpet in an off-white, double-breasted suit with matching trousers and a crisp white collared shirt, accessorized with sleek, mysterious glasses. It’s a look we could definitely see Ricky Martin rocking.

Principal’s Night Out

Janelle James was all-smiles in a wine-maroon, figure-flattering dress, and her hair styled in soft curls. Tonight, she’s up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Principal Coleman on Abbott Elementary.

Teacher’s Treat

Miss Teague’s look is next level! Quinta Brunson arrived in a stunning black gown with a plunging neckline and criss-crossed silver bedazzled straps, paired with simple earrings and rings. Tonight, she’s up for Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Lead Actress, a category she won in 2023 for her starring role in the show she created, Abbott Elementary.

No Scrubs

Katherine LaNasa skipped the scrubs on the red carpet in a strapless pearl-colored gown that’s finished with an off-blue bow. She added a pop of red with her lipstick and wore her hair slicked back. Tonight, she’s up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Charge Nurse Dana Evans in The Pitt.

Yee Haw!

Lainey Wilson channeled full country vibes in silver gem-encrusted pants, a cream top, and, of course, a matching cowgirl hat. Tonight, she’ll join Vince Gill for the In Memoriam segment. “It’s important to tip our hat and honor people. I have never had an opportunity to sing with him until now,” she told People, calling the Eagles musician’s voice “angelic.”

Good Genes and Looks

We were ready to joke about her skipping the denim and jeans (after that American Eagle controversy), but Sydney Sweeney’s look is just way too good. The actress stunned in a shiny red corseted gown that highlighted her cleavage, paired with subtle matching accessories. She looked stunning, and we have no notes.

Eleganza

Catherine O’Hara knows a thing or two about eleganza. The iconic actress wore a refined gown with subtle ruffles at the waist, paired with a sparkly clutch that matched the neckline. Tonight, she’s up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her beloved role in Seth Rogen’s The Studio.

Couple Goals

We love a date night, especially with these two lovebirds: Reba McEntire and Rex Linn. The country queen dazzled in a sparkly blazer over a silky black dress, her signature red hair perfectly framing her face (bangs included!). Linn kept it classic in a simple black suit, because of course, Reba is the queen tonight. She’ll be performing “Thank You for Being a Friend” as a tribute to The Golden Girls during the show.

Royal Energy

Halsey might be revisiting her Badlands era, but this look channels If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power with its vintage, royal energy. The singer stunned in a sparkly gold-and-black dress that perfectly matched her earrings, and wore her hair short and curly.

Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Next Level Vibes

Colman Domingo gave next level vibes with a little something extra. He rocked flared chocolate trousers and pointy black shoes, but it was his silver-blue coat, matching scarf, and polka-dot shirt that really stole the spotlight. Tonight, the iconic actor is up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for The Four Seasons.

Gilmore Girls Reunite!

Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel made a splash on the Emmys red carpet. The reunited Gilmore Girls stars looked gorgeous. “Momma Gilmore” Graham rocked a sheer, flowery, and flowy gown, while “daughter Rory” Bledel was also a vision in a silver, form-fitting strapless number.
