Khaunte was speaking at the inaugural session of the 18th edition of the Digital Technology Conclave (DTC), arranged by GovConnect in partnership with Goa Electronics Limited, a state federal government subsidiary.
GovConnect is a nationwide knowledge-sharing platform that works carefully with main and state federal governments to create and provide online forums on digital governance.
Dealing with the event, Khaunte stated, “Today, we reaffirm our vision of moving from Digital India to Viksit Bharat. Through AI and emerging technologies, Goa is making governance inclusive, transparent, and closer to the people.”

The minister stated that lining up with the Goa AI Mission 2027, a smarter, future-ready state is being constructed where innovation drives development and empowers every person.
“This is a collective mission, where AI in governance is not just about efficiency, but about creativity, inclusivity, and transformation. Goa, with its spirit of creativity, openness, and resilience, is ready to lead this change,” he stated.
The opening session, “From Digital India to Viksit Bharat – A Unified Vision for Governance Transformation”saw conversations on digital governance, cybersecurity, next-generation public facilities and the function of emerging innovations in resident services.
Mizoram’s Information and Communication Technology Minister Vanlalthlana, Goa Electronics Limited CEO, Revati Kumar, senior authorities and market leaders resolved the conclave.
