Back in February at MWC, Tecno first presented its Spark Slim concept phone, which was just 5.75mm thick, in a bid to preempt Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone 17 Air. However, Tecno’s device still hasn’t launched, while the S25 Edge is official.
That, however, will change soon. Tecno is now apparently planning to bring its slimmest phone to date to India, though it’s unclear if it will be using the Spark Slim name or a different one (we’ll still call it Spark Slim in this article for simplicity’s sake).

The phone is going to cost around INR 80,000, according to a new report, and should land in India soon. Interestingly, this report claims the final product will actually be 5.95mm thick, so it’s grown by 0.2mm compared to the concept.
It will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main rear camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery. Tecno is allegedly going to make it available in many different color options.
These are all the details revealed right now, but undoubtedly we’ll be hearing more about this smartphone in the coming days and weeks, so stay tuned. In the meantime, take a look at our hands-on with the Tecno Spark Slim concept.
