/CNW/ - (TSX.V: ARO) Les Kjosness, President < CEO, is pleased to announce a 1,000 metres (3,300foot), diamond drilling program will commence today at its flagship Waverley-Tangier, silver/lead/zinc property, located approximately 50 kms north of Revelstoke, BC. The Company has planned 10-12 short holes to be completed on the Tangier workings.
According to a NI43-101 Technical Report prepared by James Turner, P. Geo in February 2009 (posted on our website), the Tangier workings contain veins and replacement bodies of high grade gold, silver, lead and zinc mineralization.
Historical production from the property includes a GSC report dated 1928 which stated that 15 tons of sulphide ore, shipped to Wales in early days, contained 50g/t (1.50opt) gold, 4290g/t (130opt) silver, and 25 per cent lead per ton.
Part of the Companys 2009 $620,000 exploration and development program, includes compilation of data including detailed mapping < sampling, ground geophysics and an airborne EM-Mag survey.
