Singing “Vande Mataram” will be made mandatory in every school and university of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Monday.

Resolving an ‘Ekta Yatra’ (Unity March) occasion in Gorakhpur, he stated this action would motivate sensations of respect and pride amongst people towards Bharat Mata and the motherland.

“There should be a sense of respect for the national song Vande Mataram. We will make its singing compulsory in every school and educational institution of Uttar Pradesh,” he stated.
