Eklavya School, Bengaluru, an institution built on values-based and experiential learning, announces the Eureka Eklavya Festival on November 8, 2025. Open forchildren aged between 2 and 10 years and their families, this one-of-a-kind fest is set to take place at the school campus, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Designed as a living extension of Eklavya’s educational philosophy, the festival promises a day where learning unfolds through joy, exploration, and hands-on experience.

The Eureka Eklavya Festival will transform the institution into a dynamic playground of music, pottery, storytelling, art, theatre, animal petting, science, and exploration. Each element, be it workshops, performances or interactive activities, is curated to spark curiosity and creative imagination among students.

The festival’s biggest highlight, the Prani Pet Sanctuary, will bring kids a unique interactive animal experience straight to the school grounds. Here, kids can meet and gently interact with animals such as birds, rabbits, reptiles, fascinating insects and small mammals. Under expert guidance, kids will get the chance to learn about these creatures, their habitats, and care routines. This experience perfectly reflects Eklavya’s ethos of connecting learning with respect and compassion for the natural world.

In addition, a wide array of experiences awaits families throughout the day. The RAD Drum Circle welcomes children and adults to join in on a high-energy, interactive community-drumming session. Acclaimed storyteller and puppeteer, Aarthi Kathpalia, will enthral young minds with two interactive storytelling sessions that spark imagination. Besides, Passionfruit Pottery with Dhanya Verghese will give children the rare thrill of shaping their own clay creations, including a chance to try the potter’s wheel.

Workshops on Expressive Arts with Supriya DasTraditional Block Printing with Studio Tvastra, and Music with Sara Music School will immerse children in diverse creative expressions, from movement and visual art to traditional craft and musical instruments. These engagements mirror Eklavya’s philosophy of multi-sensory learning that nurtures both intellect and emotion.

Adding to the excitement, Eklavya’s own educators will conduct a series of experiential sessions, including Fun with SciencePebble PaintingString GamesMelody Makers: Finger play with rhymes and songs, and Little Builders: Unit Blocks. Each experience is created to encourage sensory exploration, refine motor development, and hands-on discovery, reinforcing the school’s commitment of cultivating curiosity through action. The event will even include amusing activities such as a Tattoo Artist boothBubble Station, and a Nature Walk with Magnifying Glass, ensuring every moment of the day incorporates learning with sheer childhood delight.

Speaking about the festival, Niyati Handa, Co-Founder of Eklavya Early Years and Eklavya School, Bengaluru, commented, “The Eureka Eklavya Festival is much more than just an event. It is a living expression of how we believe students should learn: through joy, curiosity, and connection. The festival will bring together a carefully curated line-up of workshops, performances, and interactive experiences that celebrate the spirit of childhood. And, in our opinion, they learn best when they explore, create, and connect with their peers, their environment, and also their inner selves. Also, I would like to add that this year, we’re introducing experiences that bridge compassion and curiosity, where children learn empathy through care. It will be exciting to see the campus turn into a vibrant ecosystem of learning beyond walls and books that aligns perfectly with Eklavya’s mission to nurture independent, capable learners and future nation-builders.

In essence, the Eureka Eklavya Festival provides an opportunity to witness the school’s innovative method of early education; one that combines traditional knowledge with modern pedagogy, motivating every student to discover themselves, be their own light, and make their own path.
