Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated she spoke to United States President Donald Trump on Saturday, simply days before a prepared check out to Tokyo on a local trip. Takaichi, who presumed workplace today, stated in a post on X that she “had a good and candid conversation” with Trump, “Together with him, I am determined to elevate the Japan-US alliance to even greater heights.”
