RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday (October 26, 2025) stated allowances of the agents of Bihar’s panchayati raj system will be doubled if the INDIA bloc concerns power in the state.
He likewise revealed 50 lakh insurance coverage cover and pension for them.
The panchayati raj system includes 3 levels of governance– zila parishad, panchayat samiti, and gram panchayat. The chairpersons are called ‘mukhiya’ (gram panchayat), ‘pramukh’ (panchayat samiti), and ‘adhyaksha’ (zila parishad).

“If the INDIA bloc is voted to power, we will likewise considerably increase the margin cash, per quintal, of suppliers of the general public circulation system (PDS) in the state,” Mr. Yadav informed press reporters in Patna.
“Besides, we will offer 5 lakh interest-free loans to barbers, those participated in the pottery company, and carpenters in the State,” he included.
The 243-member Bihar Assembly will go to surveys in 2 stages on November 6 and November 11, with the outcomes set to be revealed on November 14.
