Bengaluru: Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) primary commissioner Maheshwar Rao directed authorities of city corporations to operate in close coordination to guarantee efficient and prompt execution of advancement jobs throughout the city.Chairing a development evaluation conference at the Jayanagar workplace of Bengaluru south city corporation just recently, Rao stressed that inter-departmental coordination was crucial to the success of facilities and civic work. “If any development project spans across two or more city corporation limits, officials must coordinate with each other and ensure its timely completion,” he stated. Highlighting the requirement for organized work allowance, Rao advised that responsibilities be plainly specified at the city corporation level.

“Each officer must be assigned clear responsibilities, and a system should be put in place for submitting regular progress and performance reports,” he stated.

Rao likewise worried the significance of dealing with workforce spaces within the civic bodies and directed authorities to recognize jobs and send propositions for filling them. Promoting higher administrative performance, Rao required the complete execution of the e-office system to manage all file processing and approvals.

“All physical documents should gradually be converted into digital format, and proposals, approvals, and file movements must be managed through the e-office platform,” he advised.To enhance task tracking, Rao directed the consultation of nodal officers in each corporation jurisdiction. These officers will work as points of contact in between particular city corporations and the GBA coordination department to offer routine updates on continuous jobs. Rao restated that cumulative effort and responsibility at every level were important for the city’s advancement objectives to be attained effectively.
