Kerala folk-indie favorites When Chai Met Toast (WCMT) are heading everywhere as they prepare to launch their next album Town, Big Love, Little Homes in the coming months.
WCMT– who launched their very first single “Dreamland” including singer-composer Job Kurian in August– will start their Joy of Little Things world trip in India with programs in Kochi (Dec. 14, 2025), Bengaluru (Dec. 19), Mumbai (Dec. 20), Pune (Dec. 21), Chennai (Jan. 9, 2026) and Gurugram (Jan. 10, 2026).
Tickets will go on sale for the band’s e-mail base upon Sept. 11, followed by basic sale of tickets beginning with Sept. 12, 2025 for their India trip dates, with more information presenting in the coming weeks.
Later on in 2026, the band– consisting of singer Ashwin Gopakumar, guitar player and banjo gamer Achyuth Jaigopal, keyboardist-producer Palee Francis and drummer-percussionist Pai Sailesh– will head to cities like Dublin and Cork, through England and Scotland, Germany and the Netherlands in August 2026.
In September 2026, WCMT heads to the U.S., Canada for 12 programs, followed by efficiencies in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne in between Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 2026. More dates are likewise anticipated to be revealed.
The band states it’s a purposeful choice to call the worldwide trip after “the very first tune we ever made”– drawn from their 2017 EP Pleasure of Little Things— instead of their brand-new tunes or upcoming album. They explain the EP’s title track as a “tribute” to their homes and individuals and the brand-new album likewise circles around back to those styles.
