Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, organized Mega Camp in Rajahmundry today under the Saturation Campaign of the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, and Government of India. The campaign, running from July 1 to September 30, 2025, aims to ensure 100% coverage of financial inclusion and social security schemes at the Gram Panchayat (GP) and Urban Local Bodies (ULB) level across the country
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt P Prashanthi, Collector and District Magistrate of East Godavari District; Shri Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda; Shri Ritesh Kumar, General Manager and Zonal Head, Hyderabad Zone, along with other notable dignitaries from government departments, NABARD, Lead District Manager, the General Manager-DIC, the Project Director-DRDA and the Project Director-MEPMA.
In her keynote address, Smt P Prashanthi, Collector and District Magistrate of East Godavari District; emphasized the importance of financial inclusion and ensuring banking services are accessible to every citizen.” Sustained financial inclusion is essential for the holistic development of our district. This mega camp has successfully brought critical banking services and government schemes closer to our citizens, empowering them with financial security and greater opportunities.” She commended on the collective effort of all stakeholders involved and urge everyone to actively leverage these initiatives for lasting economic and social upliftment

The event also showcased inspiring stories of entrepreneurs, especially women financed by Bank of Baroda, and included cheque distributions to beneficiaries for PMJJBY claim settlements worth Rs. 2 Lakhs each and Rs. 15 Lakhs each relief under the Baroda Defense Salary package. Additionally, cheques were handed out for financing new Self-Help Groups and industries.
With over 1,000 participants, the camp saw significant engagement and resulted in large-scale enrollment under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and subscriptions to Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) at multiple stalls across the venue.
This initiative reinforces the commitment of Bank of Baroda to enhance financial inclusion and empowering communities through access to vital government schemes and banking services.
