CBSE works together with AIIMS for ‘Project MATE Training Programme’ for teen health

The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), in cooperation with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi, inaugurated the offline training program under Project MATE (Mind Activation Through Education) on August 26, 2025, at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Established at AIIMS Delhi, Project MATE is a pioneering teen health effort targeted at constructing durability, gearing up trainees with coping methods, and promoting significant peer connection through the MATE-5 principle.

The five-day training program, ranging from August 26 to 30, 2025, is being carried out by leading specialists in psychiatry, psychology and interaction. Around 50 school counsellors from CBSE-affiliated schools throughout the Delhi-NCR area are taking part in the very first stage.

Workshops To Build Resilience

Throughout the 5 days, school counsellors and wellness instructors will participate in structured workshops on the biopsychosocial design of health, anxiety-coping methods, adult sensitisation, effect evaluation tools, and favorable peer support group. The effort is anticipated to empower counsellors to support durability, promote digital wellness, willpower disputes, and improve social connectedness amongst trainees, while likewise working to destigmatise psychological health within schools.

Through this partnership, CBSE declared its dedication to holistic education and teen health, guaranteeing that trainees are much better geared up to get rid of difficulties and grow both academically and personally.
