The Supreme Court on Friday purchased status quo till August 25 in the Sambhal mosque row and provided notification to the Hindu petitioners.

A bench of Justices P S Narasimha and A S Chandurkar passed the orders.

The leading court was hearing an appeal submitted by Masjid committee challenging an order of the Allahabad High Court which dismissed its plea versus the study purchased by a Sambhal court in the Shahi Jama Masjid and Harihar Temple disagreement, promoting the civil court’s instructions for the study.

The high court stated the order to select a court commissioner and the match were maintainable.

The mosque committee had actually moved the high court versus the November 19 in 2015 order of the civil judge directing the Mughal-era mosque’ study which happened the very same day.

A 2nd study performed on November 24 in 2015, the committee declared, was unlawful as the civil court never ever purchased it.
