A brand-new Instagram post from the vocalist recommends the 17 brand-new songs she just recently launched might belong to an album

Late last month, Hayley Williams shocked fans by publishing 17 brand-new tunes to a site audio gamer for clients of her haircare business. The tracks later on struck streaming services as standalone songs on Aug. 1, and now another among them, “Glum,” has its own, nostalgia-inducing video.
The video– co-directed by Paramore’s Zac Farro with AJ Gibboney and shot on 35 mm Kodak movie– records the yellow-haired artist walking through a garden, sitting pensively in an attic, roaming through a home mid-remodel, and strumming a guitar from a corridor as she sings along to the track. Like the tune, it brings a retro, late-Nineties energy.

The drop of the 17 songs, through her indie endeavor Post Atlantic, marks the very first solo release from Williams becauseFlowers for Vases/Descansosin 2021. In an Instagram post over the weekend, the vocalist appeared to point that the tunes would become part of an album.
“Fell sleeping attempting to publish, didn’t wait to drafts, forgot which photos I wished to consist of, generally simply wished to state thank you for listening to the 17 brand-new tunes,” Williams composed on Instagram on Sunday. “I have actually been at the creek listening to prospective track-list orders and still attempting to develop my own. It’s practically as difficult as publishing a photodump.”
Recently, she dropped the video for the track “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” which caught the vocalist dancing together with Nashville Representative Justin Jones.
