The landmark shows followed the Indian Embassy in the United States hosted the 79th Independence Day events previously in the day, with Indian Ambassador to the United States Vinay Kwatra raising the tricolour at India House, marking the main beginning of the day’s celebrations.
In a post on X, the Embassy stated, “Celebrating the 79th Independence Day of India! Ambassador Shri Vinay Kwatra hoisted the tricolour at India House.
