In a transformative move set to redefine the future of education in India, Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), Bhopal, has announced the launch of its “AI First Campus” and a comprehensive “AI Action Plan.” As Central India’s first NEP and NSQF-aligned skills university, SGSU is committed to embedding artificial intelligence (AI) deeply into every aspect of higher education, from academic programs and faculty development to student engagement and industry collaboration.

These new initiatives are part of the university’s mission to lead the charge in AI-powered learning and to establish itself as a national hub for future-ready talent.

As part of its AI First Campus initiative, SGSU has rolled out a comprehensive suite of AI-driven academic programs, offering students diverse entry points into future-focused domains. The university offers B.Tech in AI and Data Science, BCA in AI and ML, and a BCA with specializations in AI-powered Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing. Business-focused learners can pursue a BBA in AI-powered Digital Marketing, while those seeking advanced studies can enroll in M.Sc. and MCA programs in AI and ML. These programs are strengthened through collaborations with global tech leaders B.Tech in AI/ML is powered by IBM, B.Tech in Cloud Computing by Google, and certifications in Azure AI and Machine Learning are delivered in partnership with Microsoft and Intel respectively, ensuring that every student graduates with globally recognized credentials and real-world skills.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of SGSU, remarked, “AI-driven education is no longer optional, it is essential. With our AI First Campus and AI Action Plan, we are preparing students not just to participate, but to lead in the AI-powered future. SGSU is committed to shaping India’s most skilled, future-ready talent pool.” His vision for an AI-empowered academic ecosystem is being brought to life under the able leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha, who also led the faculty and staff in taking the “AI Pledge (एआई प्रतिज्ञा)” — a formal commitment to adopting AI-led transformation across the university.

As part of this commitment, SGSU has also launched “AI Guru,” a unique, personalized AI-based career guidance platform designed to help students navigate their learning and employment journeys more effectively. The university is building AI-focused infrastructure on campus, including specialized labs, IBM-powered teacher training modules, student-led AI clubs, and research-based projects that bring classroom concepts to life.

The AI Action Plan, launched alongside the AI First Campus, is a year-round strategic framework designed to drive AI literacy and application across all levels of learning. It encompasses a wide range of activities such as AI awareness workshops for school and college students, capacity-building programs for faculty, academic seminars, and the formation of AI Clubs and AI Chapters in partner institutions. It also includes targeted upskilling programs in cutting-edge domains like Prompt Engineering, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Ethical AI, and Multilingual AI. On June 20, SGSU will also host a special workshop titled “AI of Future Developer – Build Smart, Code Faster,” which will coincide with the launch of the upgraded AI Guru platform.

To oversee the implementation of these forward-thinking initiatives, SGSU has formed a dedicated AI Task Force that will monitor activities, track outcomes, and foster new collaborations. One such collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently culminated in the successful organization of “AI Immersion Week,” where students, educators, and entrepreneurs from across Madhya Pradesh received hands-on training and deep insights into AI’s role in shaping industries of tomorrow.
