Punjabi hitmaker Diljit Dosanjh has set his sights on selling out one of the biggest stadiums in the world, with tickets for his Nov. 21, 2026 Ahmedabad concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium going on sale from Sept. 28, 2026 onwards.
The 132,000-capacity stadium, which played host to British band Coldplay’s biggest concert in January 2025 with a reported 112,000 in attendance, will host Dosanjh as part of his ongoing Aura World Tour. Dosanjh made the Ahmedabad concert announcement at his London concert at Wembley Stadium on Sept. 12, 2026, hours after Dosanjh became the first Punjabi artist to headline the historied venue.
The singer said at the London show, “The biggest stadium is in India — Narendra Modi Stadium. Ek gore group ne waha pe sell out kar diya tha (a foreign group sold out the venue, referring to Coldplay). Respect for them, bohot mubarkan. India mein stadium ho, aur Punjabi udhar na ho, yeh toh phir ho nahi sakta (That there’s a stadium in India and Punjabis aren’t there, it can’t happen).”
The Ahmedabad concert is co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation.
Ticket sales for Diljit Dosanjh’s 2026 Aura World Tour Ahmedabad will open with a limited Pre-Sale for RuPay Credit Cardholders at 12 pm on Sept. 28, 2026 exclusively on BookMyShow. General On-Sale of tickets goes live at 2 PM on Oct.1, 2026.
