Marjorie Taylor Greene criticised Trump for calling her a traitor over Epstein files, mentioning security issues and advising openness while preparing a House elect file release.

Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday knocked President Donald Trump for identifying her a traitor and called them as”upsetting” while hoping both can “make up” in spite of details launched associated to Jeffrey Epstein.

“The most upsetting thing (Trump) stated, which is definitely incorrect, is he called me a traitor, which is, that is so very incorrect, and those are the kinds of words utilized that can radicalize individuals versus me and put my life in threat,” Greene told CNN.

    She said her relationship with the President worsened as she was one of the conservatives wanting releasing of all files related to the Epstein investigation. “Unfortunately, it has all come down to the Epstein files,” Greene stated.

    On Saturday, Greene stated she touched with personal security companies “with cautions for my security” since Trump said he was withdrawing his endorsement of her as a Republican member of Congress.

    In a post on X, she said that “a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world,” without pointing out Trump’s name, including it was “the male I supported and assisted get chosen”.

    In the interview, Greene called out Trump was calling her a traitor and said: “Those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger.”

    “It has all boil down to the ‘Epstein files’ which is stunning and, you understand, I stand with these ladies, I stand with rape victims … and survivors of trafficking … I think the nation is worthy of openness in these files,” she said.

    According to The Guardian, Greene plans to join a vote in the House of Representatives later this week to demand the release of all files held by the US government on Epstein, the late financier and sex offender who killed himself in prison while awaiting trial on sex offenses in New York in 2019.
