Wounding case in Tuen Mun reclassified as murder

Cops the other day (November 15) reclassified an injuring case in Tuen Mun on October 15 as murder.

At around 7.50 pm on October 15, Police got a report that a male was discovered unconscious after being attacked on Kin Wing Street, Tuen Mun.

Policeman sped to the scene and discovered a 73-year-old male pushing the ground. Sustaining no shallow injury, he was hurried to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state for treatment. After preliminary examination, Police apprehended an 83-year-old male at scene for attack.

Authorities laid a holding charge of injuring versus the 83-year-old guy. The case was discussed at Tuen Mun Magistrates’ Courts on October 17.

The 73-year-old male was accredited dead at 7.11 pm the other day.

Upon more examination, Police reclassified the case as murder. A changed charge of murder will be laid versus the 83-year-old guy.

Active examination by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun is underway.
