The Security Bureau (SB) held the SB and disciplined services’ “Join the Election Together We Create the Future” promising event today (November 8) to mobilise appropriate departments, organisations and work partners to reveal complete assistance for the 2025 Legislative Council General Election, make collective efforts to publicise messages on the election and motivate members or workers, along with different sectors of society, to satisfy their civic duty by casting their votes.
Some 400 individuals took part in the promising event. In addition to members led by the heads of the SB, the 6 disciplined services and the 2 auxiliary services, other individuals from advisory and statutory bodies under the SB and departments, consisting of the Independent Police Complaints Council, the Disciplined Services Consultative Council and the Police Force Council, along with personnel associations, youth groups and work partners of the SB and its departments were likewise welcomed.
