Ford remembers almost 102,000 cars in United States over danger of door trim detachment

Ford Motor is remembering 101,944 Taurus sedans in the United States due to a flaw that might trigger door trim to remove while driving, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated on Friday.

The problem includes the B-pillar trim on the motorist and front guest doors, which might come loose throughout car operation. Separated trim pieces might fall onto the roadway, triggering a roadway danger, NHTSA stated in the notification.

The recall impacts lorries from design years 2016 through 2019, the U.S. car security regulator stated, including that Ford dealerships will examine the afflicted lorries and repair work or change the trim as required, complimentary of charge.
