Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Thursday talked to Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland on current advancements relating to Poland’s security.
Highlighting that India prefers an early end to hostilities, Jaishankar likewise highlighted the requirement for a long lasting service for the Ukraine dispute.
Together with India, the foreign ministers of Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania released a joint declaration on Thursday to condemn Russia over Wednesday’s invasion of drones into Polish airspace, calling it a ‘purposeful and extraordinary justification’.
This follows Polish authorities reported that the NATO and EU member’s airspace was breached 19 times on Wednesday, with a minimum of 3 drones shot down as Poland and NATO allies rushed jets.
