September starts on a terrific note for the Gujarat Titans as the Ahmedabad-based franchise clinch three major recognitions; one at the ET Martech+ Awards and two at the ET DigiPlus Awards 2025, respectively. The awards that celebrate diverse user engagement parameters, reinforces the team’s commitment to creating meaningful fan experiences through the official Titans Fam App.

At the ET Martech+ Awards held on September 4 in Gurugram, Gujarat Titans, along with CDP partners MoEngage, received the Martech Deployment Award for Fan Engagement. The award acknowledged the team’s effective direct-to-consumer communication strategy powered by first-party data. By introducing progressive profiling, segmenting fan cohorts, and delivering targeted push notifications, emails, and WhatsApp updates, Gujarat Titans significantly improved conversion rates and fan engagement through 2025.

The winning streak continued at the ET DigiPlus Awards (DigiPlus Fest 2025) on September 5, where Gujarat Titans secured two top honours: for Best Mobile App (Silver) across industries in India, and Excellence in user experience in an app (Silver) across industries in India. The ‘Best Mobile App (Silver) across industries in India’ award comes as a testimony to the refreshed look and new features the franchise introduced within the Titans Fam App, including nostalgic games, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, GT Rewards with streaks and badges, Race With the Titans 3.0, and interactive AR filters. These additions are not just features but thoughtfully-created value additions that delivered record-breaking downloads, daily active users, and gameplay numbers – the highest in Gujarat Titans’ four-season history.

On the other hand, the ‘Excellence in User Experience in the App’ award affirms the app’s intuitive design and smooth navigation across diverse features such as games, activations, and exclusive content. Enhanced by progressive profiling and multi-touchpoint tracking, the app kept load times quick and bugs minimal, ensuring fans could interact with the team in a simple, engaging manner.

Speaking on the recognitions, Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO, Gujarat Titans, said: “At Gujarat Titans, a great sense of thought goes into enhancing our fan’s experiences, and in advancing the Titans Fam App that keeps our fans connected. The honours across categories at the ET Brand Equity Awards, validate the consistent efforts by the team. Taking the recognitions as benchmarks, we’ll keep innovating in line of our fan-first mindset, so that the app becomes a benchmark for sports fan engagement in India.”

The wins at ET Brand Equity’s prestigious platforms, the Martech+ Awards and DigiPlus Awards, mark a milestone in Gujarat Titans’ digital journey, showcasing how the franchise is building deeper connections with fans both on and off the field.
