Back to Baalpan — India’s first nostalgia-powered kids’ carnival curated by IGNISIA — was successfully launched yesterday amidst rains, roadblocks, and unstoppable excitement at Mount Olympus School grounds, Sec 47, Gurgaon.
The launch witnessed the presence of the entire Ignisia team — Monieka Khanna, Neha Sarna, and Jasbir Saini — along with MD Desi Rockstar Singer, who added star power to the celebration. Families and children from across Delhi-NCR turned up in large numbers, proving that when it comes to reliving childhood, nothing can hold people back.
The carnival’s stage games, riddles, and crowd favorites like “Pehachano Kaun” kept the energy high, while traditional games such as Ankh Micholi and Pithu became superhits of the evening. The spirit of nostalgia was amplified further with the tunes of the 90s echoing across the grounds, making everyone hum, dance, and feel like children again.
Eminent influencers of Gurgaon joined the experience, spreading the word of this unique concept. Residents too were touched by the effort — Ms. Alka Dalal from Malibu Towne remarked: “At least someone thought about making this concept a reality. Congratulations to Team Ignisia for curating this.”
Adding to the celebration, Mr. Neeraj from Rewari said: “I have never seen such a concept done so beautifully.”
With this successful launch, IGNISIA is supporting a passionate team of 90s-born dreamers to bring their idea to life with expertise and vision. The journey has only begun — Back to Baalpan will now roll out its first full-fledged season this November in Delhi, followed by a multi-city tour across India, reconnecting families with childhood values and encouraging kids to play less on screens and more on the playground.
