Hyderabad: The city traffic authorities provided an advisory revealing diversions in Dhoolpet in between August 23 and 27 in view of the largescale sale, purchase and transport of Ganesh idols.
According to the advisory, basic traffic will not be allowed in between Bhoiguda Kaman and Gandhi statue throughout this duration. Automobiles bring Ganesh idols will be enabled to get in from Gandhi statue, Puranapul, and exit through Bhoiguda Kaman crossroads.
Traffic from Gandhi statue and Puranapul towards Mangalhat will be diverted by means of Takkarwadi T-Junction, Jinsi Chowrahi and Ghode-ki-Khabar.
Automobiles from Seetarambagh towards Mangalhat or Puranapul will be diverted at Bhoiguda Kaman crossroads towards Karwan Road through Gandhi statue, or through Aghapura, Dharusalam and MJ Bridge.
Cars from Darussalam meaning to continue towards Puranapul through Mangalhat will be diverted through alternative paths consisting of Aghapura, Ghode-ki-Khabar and Jummerat Bazaar.
Heavy cars participated in idol transport need to be parked at Jummerat Bazaar ground or 100 Feet Road, Puranapul. They will be allowed to move just after 10 pm. In case of rain, parking will be organized along MJ Bridge roadway towards Jummerat Bazaar. Cops asked for residents to comply and follow diversions for smooth traffic circulation.
