The Andhra Pradesh government and private entities marked the 154th Jayanti of ‘Andhra Kesari’ Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu across the city on Saturday (August 23, 2025). Visakhapatnam Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad and Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi garlanded the portraits of Panthulu. Calling Panthulu a great leader, the officials said that he sacrificed everything for the country and the State. They said that being the first Chief Minister of Andhra Rastra he was instrumental in building 14 irrigation projects.
