CE expresses sorrow over passing of Mrs Christina Lee

The Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, today (February 13) expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs Christina Lee.

“A successful person in the commercial sector, Mrs Lee participated in the management of a major local TV station for a long period of time and was held in high regard in the sector. She was committed to philanthropic causes. She helped raise funds for social welfare organisations and also gave staunch support for the medical development of Hong Kong with donations made to a local university’s faculty of medicine, benefitting society at large.

“I am saddened by the passing of Mrs Lee. On behalf of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to her family,” Mrs Lam said.
