“BRF has a relevant presence in Minas Gerais. We generated seven thousand direct jobs and we have almost 300 integrated producers. This movement is in line with the Company’s Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks growth with value generation for our entire production chain ”, explains Lorival Luz.“ We also focus on increasing pork consumption in Brazil and Minas offers us opportunities in this sense, as we produce items of this line in Uberlândia ”, reinforces Grazielle Parenti.

Zema praised BRF’s investments. “We recognize the importance of the company in our state, where we are friends with the entrepreneur. We want to foster a less bureaucratic and friendlier business environment for everyone, ”adds Vice-Governor Paulo Brant.

The investment in the state aims to expand and modernize the production of margarine, bacon, cooked sausage and chicken. The forecast is to present an increase of 25% in the volume of production in Uberlândia in the fourth quarter of 2021. Currently, exports of products directly from the unit in Minas Gerais add up to more than 31 thousand tons per year.

“With the expansion of our unit, we will have new opportunities for resource optimization and online monitoring of processes and products, further increasing the quality performance of Sadia, Perdigão and Qualy products. As part of our digital transformation journey, the factory will start to count on cutting edge technology to connect our entire network of integrated suppliers and suppliers, placing the Uberlândia unit at the top of our operational efficiency ”, says Fábio Luiz Possato, executive manager of the Uberlândia of BRF.
