Daroga Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi) is an utterly carefree and laidback inspector! Seen as the jack of all trades but master of none, Happu Singh is great at turning things up-side down! Annoyed with the state of affairs in Kanpur, Malaika complains to Happu about a lot of recent thefts and burglary in the city. Happu snaps at her and tells her not to teach him his job! Unperturbed by her father’s response, Malaika reaches out to the Commissioner but gets a meaningless response! Soon in the episode, Malaika co-incidentally ends up saving Mantri ji’s life, and Mantri ji appoints her as a Special Officer! Malaika now has a lot of powers at her discretion which she will be using in entertaining ways!
Talking about her role, Zahara Sethjiwala who plays Malaika in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, says, “It was a fun episode where I become an officer as pronounced by the Minister! Although in the show, I felt a sense of pride, but then it gets super quirky ahead. In the thirst for doing good for the society I end up suspending my own father who is an inspector himself. Now, whether I am at fault or my father Daroga Happu Singh, that the episode will reveal with lots of twists and turns!”
